"Jean... Jean..." There was a voice that felt so far, but it was so close. "Wake up you horse!" Marco's voice yelled. Jean woke up as a bead of sweat rolled down his forehead.
"What the fuck happened?" Jean said, rubbing his temples to nurse
his headache.
"Mikasa beat you up and now we're in the Nurse's Office." Marco replied.
"Shit. Did that bitch get detention or anything?"
"Yeah, but it's not a Saturday detention. It's after school." Marco replied calmly. Jean groaned in disappointment, getting up from the bed that was a little too small for him.
"Do we get to skip class for the rest of the day?" Jean asked hopefully. He already knew the answer.
"No. Jean, if you miss class, you'll have to make up your work, and that puts you behind." Marco lectured. Jean rolled his eyes childishly and kissed Marco.
"Such an angel." Jean said. Marco beamed in delight and got up from the chair he was sitting in, reaching eye level with Jean. Jean was slightly taller, which he always made apparent to everyone he met.
"Shoot. I don't think anyone saw the fight, but are you going to mind people picking on you?" Marco panicked.
"Nah. I don't give a shit," Jean said, pecking his boyfriend on the lips. They walked out of the office hand in hand, after Marco made sure the Nurse knew, of course.

Jean groaned and stretched in his chair. 1:47, his least favorite class, Algebra, was in 8 minutes. "Let's skip Algerbra. Go fuck in the bathroom or something." Jean suggested.
Marco blushed and rolled his eyes. "No, Jean, you have a D in that class and you need to bring it up."
"I can bring your D up." Jean joked, leaning back in his chair. He was about to make a comment about the Algebra teacher, Mr. Smith's, teaching skills, but fell back in his chair onto the floor. The class gasped in awe, Mr. Kirschtein had fallen! They all helped him up, Jean annoyed by the whole thing. Out of all people, Marco bursted out laughing.
"Oh my god, you're the biggest loser I know," Marco sighed, holding back tears of laughter.
"How am I big?" Jean wiggled his eyebrows, sitting back down. Marco laughed again and made fun of his dork of a boyfriend.

Algebra went by surprisingly quick, there was a sub. The class shared a couple of giggles towards the fight between Jean and Mikasa, and boy, did Jean wanna kick the shit out of those idiots.
Lunch was next, both of the boys' least favorite period. Marco got picked on a lot, and lunch just made him even more vulnerable.
Jean lost it at times, getting a couple of Saturday detentions for it. It's weird, neither of them thought Saturday detentions were actually a thing. It's exactly like The Breakfast Club, Marco's favorite movie. Jean's is Frozen.
Today on the menu were some 'high quality' corndogs. Seeing these were Jean's favorite food, he was overjoyed. Marco gushed at his boyfriend's happiness as they sat down at their usual table. Two of their friends, Sasha and Connie, came to sit down with them everyday, as well.
"Yo! Dweeb and dork! What's up?" Sasha said, sitting down with a tray full of food. Connie, Sasha's boyfriend of 3 months, immediately stuffed his face with a spoonful of mashed potatoes.
"Hold up, who's Dweeb and who's Dork?" Jean questioned.
"You're both," Connie answered, while Sasha nodded with agreement.
"What am I?" Marco asked.
"You're the angel with freckles." Sasha smiled with a full mouth. Marco blushed.
"Hey! How come he gets the cute name and I'm Dweeb and Dork?!" Jean yelled. Sasha snorted.
"It's because Marco is cooler than you, and I think we all know that you're the biggest dork ever."
"Am not."
"Jean, do you remember what pickup line you used on Marco?" Sasha said, holding back a chuckle. Jean nodded no slowly, probably going to regret knowing.
"You went up to him and said, 'If everyone was a booger, I'd pick you first.'" Sasha, Connie, and Marco all laughed in unison.
"Oh my god, did I really say that?" Jean panicked, flustered. "I should of used the one that goes, 'Do you like my shirt? It's boyfriend material.'" Jean winked at Marco. Marco squirmed in his seat.
"That's so cheesy, but how did you get Marco all flustered like that?" Sasha questioned. Jean just winked at Marco and made him blush harder. Bad pickup lines were a key to Marco's heart, Jean ways uses them on him.
The 11th graders joked with each other through lunch, mostly embarrassing Jean. It was a good day, people left Marco alone. All four friends had all of their electives together, which were Band, Gym, and Art. Sasha was always the one to keep up with stuff, even if she wasn't the best student.
"Alright. Pack your things and throw away your trash, it's time for Band!" Sasha said, standing up. The boys nodded and threw away their trash, grabbing their things.
Once they made it down the hallway and into the bandroom, sounds of different instruments filled their ears.
