Chapter 49|| Waiting

I wait for the 's' to come. Reed looks pretty excited and nervous. He is crazy to scream 'Hell yeah baby' but that is just who he is.

Yet again he is a weirdo boyfriend. As you can tell from our relationship, I am the grumpy shy one and he is the loud, bright happy one.

" Nora Spair" The principal said, grabbing my attention. Reed is next. He winks at me. I froze in shock. He seriously is on camera and he just winked at me.

" Reed Sparrow" She says catching his attention. He walks across the stage and shakes her hand and grabs his diploma.

Before he gets off the stage, he walks off the stage holding up his diploma and nodding. Tyson and Jason cheer him on. I just clap like a civilized person.

I chuckled and shook my head" Weirdo" My heart beats for him. I do.

He makes his way through the crowd of people in same cap and gown as him. I don't know what he is doing?

" Excuse me"

" Pardon me"

" Trying to sit by my girlfriend" He whispers getting closer.

I ignored him by blocking him out of the corner of my eye with my hand and crossed my legs.

" Thank you" I hear him whisper and felt a breeze hit me.

" Hi" he slides his arm on the back of my chair. He smells so good! Damn him.

" Hi" I dropped my hand and stared at the stage. He scoots closer" You ok?" He whispers.

I nod" I just need to nap, Didn't get good sleep last few days" I leaned into him. I can't be mad at him.

" Do you fake sleeping when Im over there?" He asks softly in a hushed tone.

" What?" I whispered to him" I don't fake anything" I added. I really don't, except to spare his feelings. Or my aunts.

" Oh, that's good to know, but every time I sleep over, you are like dead asleep" he whispers in my ear.

He gently rubs my shoulder, I never thought of that before. I don't sleep well by myself. It's just what happens.

I get that horrible feeling of being unsafe. Not being happy, just my dad'—" Hey, Dal, your ok" he whispers and holds me closer. He snaps me out of the dark path.

I blink away the tears" I don't know why I don't sleep well alone" I whispered staring into space.

" It's ok, we don't have to talk about it right now" he kisses my ear" You're safe" he says warming my heart up. He can change my mood instantly.

20 minutes later....

" You all can slide you tassles, ypu are not graduated students" She spoke smiles.

I do mine real fast" Finally no longer apart of this hell hole!" I smiled cheerfully.

He laughs" Year, 4 years can do that to you" he smiles" Now college students" he says in a weird deep voice.

I laughed" Your so goofy" I said tugging his forward" I like it" I kissed him.

He smiles" Oh, I like this a lot!" He pulls me forward and kisses me all around.

I slip a giggle as he does that" Ok!" I smiled holding into him.

He sighs" Ok, I am officially free" he says looking around.
