Chapter 17|| Shiny and green

I woke up to light snoring. I actually feel refreshed. I need to wake up. I am awake. Stupid me.

I hear soft giggling behind me. I opened my eyes. Still barely light outside. From the shadows on my wall.

I m on the edge of the bed" What" I whispered. Light snoring goes on behind me. Then, it hit me. Reed is in my bed.

I slowly turned around. Him cuddled to my back and a small smile appears on his face. Then is goes to a blank expression. He is sleeping.

I chuckled softly. Why is he like this? He is so adorable sleeping. Why is he adorable? No! Stop.

I turned around and looked at him softly giggling and drooling on my pillow. He is so weird.

A small knock came unto my door. I immediately got up and went to the door" Yeah?" I scratched my head yawning.

Macy chuckles " Your such a guy" she smiles. She is always so pretty in the mornings.

I chuckled " Yeah, What's up?" I rubbed my face. Probably waking me up for school.

" Well, they cancelled school, most of the teachers can't get to school and most of the student either, so you and Reed don't have school!" She smiles and nods.

I like no school" So, Is the bridge clear?" I asked. She frowns" Nope, up to the knees, Reed is still stuck here, have him call his parents" she rubs her stomach. Revealing a small bump.

My eyes widen" Wh– are you?" I whispered pointing.

She has a child like grin" 2 months pregnant" she whispers. I instantly hug her and squeeze her.

She laughs" Oh, honey" she rubs my back. I nuzzled into her neck" Also, when this clears up, there is an auction and you are coming" she whispers and hugs me.

I pulled back" No, No, I don't" she gives me a motherly look. Arching her eyebrow and cocks her head.

" Go to the Mall, get a nice dress and invite Reed" she rubs my arms. My heart dropped. Did she just say invite Reed?

She nods" Yes, I did, missy and get a nice tux too, cute couple" she pinches my cheek with a grin on her face. NOT A COUPLE.

I swat the hand away" Oh m— did you?" I stepped back" Oh, No! We aren't a couple, he is a friend!" I exclaimed in a whisper tone.

She smirks" Its ok, you guys are cute friends" she winks walking away. I groaned" Your such a butthead!" I whisper yelled.

I slowly shut my door and shook my head. I looked at the sleeping weirdo on my bed.

Snoring of course. He is just my friend. That's all he is. Nothing more.

What is that smell? I went to the bathroom and shut the door. I smelt myself " Whoa, ok" From sweat.

I need a shower...

Reed's pov...
I heard the shower running. I rubbed my face and looked around. I faintly heard a interesting conversation.

Her aunt thinks we're a couple. And I don't have to go to school. And my parents don't give a shit about me realize that I am gone and they only realized that I took their car. Bunch of assholes.
