It was the first day of hell. New school, new friends, and new relationships. Joy.

I wanted my junior year to be great. I wanted to make something out of it. I defiantly wanted to meet some friends.

In Australia, where I was originally, it was a struggle. Girls hated me. Guys hated. Basically the whole school hated me. It was all because of 9th grade. I dated Brad, the most popular guy in school. I was the first girl to ever break it off with him. He cheated on me with a cheerleader. After that, he spread rumors and crap about me. People believed him. Eventually he got the whole school to go against me. I guess I got use to not having friends. Sophomore year was actually a bit better. I at least made one friend. That was all I needed.

I was glad I was able to start over at a new school. They didn't know me at all or my past. So it was a fresh start.

I've heard Hilton high school was one of the best high schools around. They have great academics, and a great athletic program. I was really interested in playing volleyball. At Australia I just played a travel team because I was too afraid to play at my school. I was afraid of the girls. I knew they wouldn't like me.

"Lily! Hurry up,I'm gonna drop you off at 8:25!" My mother yells from downstairs. I roll my eyes.

I finally got out of bed, quickly rushing to the bathroom. I set my flat iron for 410 degrees. My hair is naturally wavy, but I prefer my hair straight. I grabbed my makeup bag.

I'm obsessed with Rimmel London eye liner. I usually just use some foundation with power, light brown eye shadow, black eye liner, and mascara. I know it sounds like a lot but it's not. I don't apply too much to look like a slut.

I brush my teeth and combed my hair. Once I was all finished straightening my hair and applying makeup I went to go pick out my clothes. I had several ideas but I was debating between them.

I chose white shorts, a baby pink flowing tank top, and my favorite American Eagle flip flops.

As I flopped downstairs my dad screamed at me, "Lily you look like a fucking slut go change!" He was obviously drunk. I ignored him how I usually do. I went straight to mom.

"Lily answer me!" He yells once again. Most nights he was drunk. Rare occasions he will drink in the morning.

"Hunny, let her be please." My mother said softly. She always sticks up for me. She doesn't let my dad bash at me. He mumbles under his breath and goes upstairs.

I ate the food my mom made for me in a hurry. I drank my juice super fast. I hurried and grabbed my bag and was begging my mom to let me drive.

As my mom and I got in the car I started to get nervous. My palms started to get sweaty. I was thinking of the worst case scenarios.

We pulled in front and I saw so many people.

My mother walked me in. I went one way she went the other. I was looking for the guidance office when I bumped into someone, "oh god, sorry!" I say as I helped him pick up his papers.

"Just watch where you are going..." He snapped. I handed him his papers. "Wait, are you new?" He asked.

I nodded, "Yes, it's my first day." I said with a smile.

He didn't smile back, "Great." He said so sarcastically and walked away. I didn't even get his name.

I followed the signs to guidance. I checked in and got my schedule. She pulled a girl from the hallway and ask her if she could lead me around.

"Hey, I'm Sarah." She said kindly.

"Hi, I'm Lily." I smile back as I followed her to my first class.

"It looks like we both have first period together," she said leading me into a classroom.

I saw the boy I ran into this morning. His eyes were fixed on me. The boy next to him was trying to talk to him, but he was completely focused on me.

I followed Sarah to our seats. We were right behind that boy.

"Hey Sarah ," the other boy said.

"Lily, this is Nash, Nash this is Lily." he smiled which caused me to smile.

"Nice to meet you Lily," he held out his hand.

I shook it, "Nice to meet you too."

He turned to the boy next to him, the one I ran into. "This is Cameron." He said trying to get Cameron to turn.

"Stop Nash," he said firmly.

Nash whispered something in his ear causing him to turn around. He said rolling his eyes. " Hi." He faked a cheesy smile and turned around.

Boy would we have issues.
