Chapter Four // Expressing

Cameron.

Cameron Dallas.

Who is he?

Well let me tell you.

He's a mysterious boy that I fell for when I first laid eyes on him.

I decided to sleep over at Sarah's that might. We decided to blow up the air mattresses in her basement. She told me she planned a surprise for me. I figured maybe a movie or something.

She was giggling as we got the basement ready, it was killing me.

"Sarah what's going on?" I ask laughing as I see her trying to hold it in.

"Pshh.. Nothing..." She said almost falling over. "Fine you can't told him I told you!"

Him?

I nodded quickly.

"Okay, well Cameron wanted to come over tonight to "talk" to you about "things"" she said all giggly.

What! What? Is this a dream? Pinch me.

"So do you like him?" She ask quickly looking up at me. I felt my cheeks get hot.

"Um we-" she cut me off.

"You do! That's so cute!! But just be careful please." She said gently.

"Why.."I asked.

"He doesn't stay with a single girl for long, he's known for cheating. I know he's one of my good friends but he can't hold a relationship. I just wanna worn you so your not so shocked." She said throwing blankets on the bed. We both heard knocking. Butterflies flew in my stomach.

I heard his voice. His relaxing voice.

"Hey Lily." He said not smiling. My cheeks grew red.

"Um Hi." I waved my hand slighting thinking I look stupid a looking down at my feet.

When I look up he's whispers something's in Sarah's ear. She smiles and runs off upstairs.

It's just me and him.

Alone.

My heart starts to pump very fast. My hands get all sweaty. As for my cheeks, there 50 shades of red. It was hard for me to breath. My throat got tight and I couldn't make eye contact with him. Until he lifted my head up with his fingers.

"Lily. I like you." He said softly.

The words I wanted to hear.

I like you.

I didn't know what to say. I wanted to say I like you too. But I couldn't. I got too nervous. I just want to show that I liked him back. So then I looked up to meet his eyes. They were looking right at mine.

I did what my gut told me to do.

I kissed him.

I kissed him right on the lips. His smooth soft lips.

Cameron's POV

I told her. I told her how I felt about her. I've never done this before. When she didn't respond I was scared. What if she didn't like me back. I was a nervous wreck. Even if I didn't show it, my heart was speeding up fast.

She looked up as I looked down at her. Her green eyes were beautiful. They were full of life and color. She doesn't pound her eyes with makeup, that makes her even more attractive. Her eyelashes were so long and full. I couldn't help but get lost in them.

Until she caught me off guard.

She kissed me.

My eyes stayed open for a second shocked at her reaction. I slowly shut my eyes and smiled while she kissed me. I reached my hands up and cupped her face.

You don't know how long I waited for this moment. I was never gonna let her go.

She pulled back.

"Yes." She said with the biggest smile. Seeing her cheeks blush caused me to smile as well.

"Yes what?" I ask laughing at her looking her in the eyes.

She nods, "Yes I like you back."

You don't know how long I waited to her those words.

I like you.

And in that moment, I swear, we were in love.

It's was Monday. Back to school. Last night was the best night if my life. Lily and I went to go see a movie. It's was odd paying for a movie and not even watching it.

I wanted to surprise her by truly asking her out. I know it's been only a month, but when I'm with her I feel amazing.

As I walked into school I raced to find Lily. Usually she's comes in with Sarah. I wait by Sarah's locker hoping Lily will be with her.

"Cammy..." A girl called.

Alyssa.

I rolled my eyes.

"Yes Alyssa, what?" I asked annoyed out of my mind.

"I heard you and that Lily girl have a little thing." She grins. I nod. She looks past me for a quick second then plants her lips on mine.

I gently shoved her away and turned around seeing Lily.

"Lily!"

Lily's POV

I was laughing with Sarah because she was teasing me about Cameron. We took bets to see if Cameron would be at Sarah's locker.

As we turned the corner, she won the bet.

I was about to call out telling her she won but I couldn't speak.

Cameron was kissing another girl.

Alyssa.

I wanted to punch her in the throat. He turned away from her seeing me his face saddened.

"Lily!" He called out for me but I ran. I don't know where to go but I ran.

I ran into a bathroom. Wanting to drown in my own tears.
