Byul's POV

My eyes flash wide open when my alarm clock rang. I sleepily looked around my room before a long sigh escaped my lips.

It's time to start my daily routine. I told myself.

I yawned while stretching my arms and legs. Memories from last night unexpectedly invited themselves into my head making me narrow my eyes.

Ugh.

It's early in the morning and my brain decides to play out the entire scene again from last night, what a way to ruin my mood. I tossed it in my mental trash bin and told myself to forget about it.

But still those figures looked too human to be...Do I have to say it?

I let out a sigh while I get out of my bed.

After fixing my bed I went to my bathroom to wash my face. I looked at myself in the mirror, my hair still looked neat.

I grabbed the towel that hung on a metal rod and gently wiped my face. I grabbed a hair tie lying besides the sink, and loosely tied my hair into a low ponytail.

I caught the sight of my glasses and didn't think twice about wearing it. Is my eyesight crystal clear? Yes it is. I've just grown attached to it. And I've been told that I look more intimidating when I wear it.

"Mom, wake up!" I said as I walked out of the room and headed to the kitchen.

I opened the fridge and scanned the contents inside, "Hmm, egg rolls are good enough." I grabbed two eggs and some vegetables. Before I close the door I only noticed that there were only a few items inside.

I remembered that it was a little full yesterday, it was somewhat mysterious but I didn't think it out too much. Mom probably snacked on it last night.

I placed the plate with the egg rolls in the center of the table, followed up by the side dishes served in saucers.

"You woke up early on a non-school day," I heard mom say behind me.

The sound of the chair scraping against the floor can be heard when mom pulled one out to take a seat. I turned back to the table and placed our cups and reply to her question.

"I have nothing else better to do."

Mom grabbed her chopsticks and started eating while I was reaching for the cupboard handle. As I got a hold of it I opened it and grabbed my box of cereal.

"Sweetie, eat your rice first."

"I'll have some afterwards, mom. Let me have my cereals first."

I looked into the box and found it empty.

I furrowed my brows, "Mom, did you eat my cereal?" I looked at her and expected to see the face of guilt.

She shook her head, "No, I don't like cereal. Just eat your rice, Byul."

I wasn't convinced in her words but she didn't show any guilt, I wondered if I already ate all of it yesterday. I sighed and just brushed it off then threw the box in the trash bin and took a seat.

Both of us were done eating and I'm already cleaning the dishes. She placed the rest of the dirty bowls in the sink making me pause from cleaning. I cleared my throat and decided to ask her a certain question.

"Mom?"

I asked and she looked at me, "Yes, sweetie?"

"Did you delete the video?" I said straightforwardly.
