Get Away | Jungkook x Reader

Ch. 2 | Hungry

"Hug me too,"

Your heart flusters at his statement as he grabs and holds onto each of your hands, pulling you closer to him. His eyes continues to stare at you as he wraps your hands around to the back of his waist.

"-like you did with the others. Hug me too."

Your heart beats loudly as he wraps his arms around your tiny body and squeezes you into his embrace. He leans forward and rests his head on your shoulder with his face towards your neck. The warm air of his breathing tickles your neck and makes your hair rise up.

Your head is rested against his hard chest so that you could feel his hot sweats and body heat against your cheek.

You suddenly got mixed feelings.

When he's standing in front of you, you're afraid of what he'll do, but now that he's hugging you inside his arms, you feel this secure feeling. As he'll protect you from any kind of danger. You slowly close your eyes and listen to his heart beating.

As you hear a chuckle, your eyes pop back open. It turned out that the chuckle came from Jungkook.

"So, this is how nervous you are when I'm close to you?" His words mock you so bad. You push him by his chest, causing him to stumble away from you.

"Jungkook! Why are you-" You try to speak, but he wouldn't let you to that either. He cut you off with words that made you go stun.

"You like me, right?" He leans forward to your face's level, holding intense eye contact. His presence and every breath he takes freezes you, not being able to do anything for a moment. Speaking, moving, even breathing were impossibilities.

When you didn't answer anything back, the corner of his lips curved. "I guess you do, then."

You could have punched him in the face right then, but you didn't. Instead, you move your eyes away from his as you bend down to carry the pack of the water bottles that was the reason that you entered this room.

"Let me help you." His hand comes on top of yours, but you fling yourself away. You don't even look at him or say anything, you're just ignoring him totally and walk out of the room.

After what had happened, you started avoiding and ignoring him as if he doesn't even exist.

1 week passed

You know that he knows you're avoiding and ignoring him, causing you to be even more pissed off. The ignorance you have towards him seems to be feeding his happiness.

2 weeks passed

The number one rule in your mind was to stay as close as possible to somebody... anybody. That's the only way you'll know Jungkook won't sneak in behind you and do anything awful like he's done before. Still, he sometimes tried to talk with you or sometimes pretend to coincidentally bump into you or get in your way just to get the attention he desires.

3 weeks passed.

Then a month.

Finally! Ignoring him like this makes you feel so much better!

...

You carry a huge box filled with snacks into a small room and say:

"Here you go!"

The female staff in the room turns around and makes a relieved expression as her eyes catches the numerous flavors and kinds of snacks. "Thank god!"
