It's Halloween..

I don't know why people get excited about it. I don't understand why Piper is excited about it. It's another day, except that you can look like a total idiot and no one can judge you .

Sometimes, I find it difficult to understand that girl. She does not like parties, and avoid them whenever she could... Yeah that made it so hard for me to find an excuse to take her out...
But then, she volunteered to take care of the decorations of the high school annual Halloween party.

Is she even serious?
She has been super busy this week, so I didn't even get the chance to to invite her to attend the party with me, and I really wanted to do that .
It would have been easier if she didn't jump up and down around the high school holing a checklist and giving orders nonstop for 7 freaking days .

She's killed my plans goddammit !

But the party is tonight, and exactly in an hour... How am I supposed to do it?

I walked into the gym, unsure of what to say or what to do. I saw her checking out the decorations one more time to make sure it all looked as she wanted. She gave a little dance around the room, her long emerald green dress swirling in the air.

She looked fascinating, but..

"who convinced her to wear a dress?!" I said that a little louder than I was supposed...

People around me looked at me surprised.

"I did"
I heard a voice right behind me, and I turned around to see Reyna, dressed in purple like usual, her long braid falling on her left shoulder .

"And why would you do that" I sighed.

"Well I assumed that you would not like to dance with a girl in pants" She smirked.

"There's nothing wrong with girls in pants, and I won't dance with her, it's not a ball " I protested.

She looked at me, boredom showing on her face

"No one asked for your opinion, and it will be a ball, trust me. "

"Hey I'm -"

She pulled me closer by my shirt's collar , and whispered in her angriest tone ever :

" Look Jason, you have no idea how hard it was to put her in that dress. I had to... Go shopping with her! And all  that was for you. Don't. Ruin. It"

She let go and walked away before I get the chance to answer.

"Alright" I muttered.
"Hey Piper" I called and walked towards her.
"Oh Jason, hey" She waved.

Now what?

"Uh, you look stunning" I rubbed the back of my hair.
I saw her cheeks getting redder.

Wow she likes courtesies after all.

"Uh... Thanks" She smiled "You don't look bad yourself" She looked at me

"Oh thanks it's... Okay uh.."

Awkward silence...

"So Halloween..." I broke the silence.

"Yeah" She laughed "I just love it , the colours, the music... It's so..."

"yeah it's..."

"Oh I almost forgot" She pulled out her phone, and I have no idea where she was keeping it since she's wearing a dress, then dialled Percy's phone number.
