The False Truth

<Chapter 7>

I couldn't believe this!! It was one thing for him to lie to me about where he was going but hitting Roxie! That was another thing!

But I shut my thoughts up and kept watching. he hit her repeatedly and I swear I winced every time he slapped her. He finally got tired of her not saying anything and pulled the chair to the wall.

Her head was sagging and my dad kneeled down and grabbed her chin to see her face.

"Look at me." he said "just tell me and it will be over with."

He looked at her like dog does at his bone.

"Roxie..." he said as he rubbed her shoulder.

She looked so young then at that moment even though she was 20. She was actually really beautiful and many men were attracted to her. Dad was 37 and the only woman attracted to him was mom.

"I was wondering," he said as he was now rubbing the side of her leg.

I felt like I was watching a romance/ horror movie. But it was real! Wow I guess Roxie was so beautiful even dad was attracted to her. I wanted to throw up! Plus is he forgetting something... he's married!

"Look at me!" he said. I could hear the anger in his voice as he grabbed her chin again.

Next thing I knew dad was kissing Roxie!
