Chapter 18: The Girl Next Door....
*a little later in life :) *
I rember everything now. But you'll never believe who moved next door.
Zoey.
Blach.
Now, I wish I couldn't rember anything. Nothing. Ever. It's horrible.
I go to school now. I can talk now, but it's very rare that I do. At school I pretty much a nobody. You know, the quiet girl that no one talks too.
I walked down stairs. About half way down stairs, I heard Ali shout "GET A ROOM!" which probably ment she just caught Cody and Zoey making out. I walked in and no one seemed to notice. Cody and Zoey were sitting on the couch looking flushed, and Ali was leaning on the counter bitting into an apple. I just leaned against the wall with my arms crossed and whatched.
"So what are we going to do today?" Ali asked.
"I don't know." Cody said.
"How about we go to the beach?" Zoey suggested.
They all agreed and Ali walked by me with out noticing to go change. As soon as she left Cody and Zoey kissed again. It was too much. I felt tears coming into my eyes and ran off down the hall. I ran into Tom on the way.
"Destiny whats wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing," I said wipping my tears and bending down to him."I just-"
"Did some boy hurt you? Because I'll beat him up. I will!" He said acting tough.
I slightly smiled. "Thanks, but no need for that. I'm fine."
He smiled and hugged me.
"Will you take me to the park?" He asked.
"Sure."

The next day at school, Ben, a guy in my math class, came up to me at lunch and asked me out.
Strange. No one ever even talks to me. Ben was handsome, not like die over, like Cody, but he wasn't bad looking. I told him I'd think about it because I wasn't quite sure.
When I got home I thought about. It might give me a good chance to get over Cody, because we all know that Cody and Zoey are never going to brake up, and even if they do, what does it mean that he will like me?
Ben gave me his number, so I texted him.
Me: Yes.
Ben: Who is this?
Me: Destiny.
Ben: So you'll go out with me?
Me: Yes.
Ben: Great. Pick you up tomorrow at 7?
Me: I'll be waiting. ;)
Ben: :)
I closed my phone and went into the kitchen to get a yogurt. I saw Ali on the couch whatching TV.
"Hey Destiny." She said.
"Hey," I said sort of shocked she noticed me.
"What's up?" She said getting up from the couch.
"Just thinking about what I'm going to wear on my date tomorrow." I said like it was no big deal.
"WHAT?!? Did Cody and Zoey brake up with out telling me or something?!?"
I slightly smiled. "No, a guy from school."
"What this 'guys' name?"
"Ben."
She nodded.
"Want me to help you pick out your clothes?"
"Sure." I said with a smile.
With in minutes we were going through my closet and listening to music and singing like we were insane. (Isn't that the best?!? :D ).
