Chapter 27:
When Cody came home, I ran to the door to make sure he was okay.
"Oh my gosh are you okay?!?" I said. It was unlike me, but I couldn't help but hug him. I could almost sense him smiling.
"Yeah I'm fine. How bout you?"
"Worried, scared. Did you find out where he lives?"
"Yes. But I think he saw me. Where's Ali and Tom?"
"Well being that you were gone for like two hours, they went to sleep. And by the way your parents arn't home."
"Why where did they go?"
"LOOKING FOR YOU!! You can't just run off after some guy that you know can kill you with out your phone even!" I paused to throw it at him, luckly he caught it. "Your mom almost had a heart attack when she found out! And Tom started crying when we started getting really worried after a half hour! I can't believe you! I'm mean really, why would you go and put yourslef in danger like that?"
"I-"
"And what if something happened to you? Think about your fans. Most of them would probably kill there sleves. And then people will defintly know about me. They might even gather a mob and kill me! And-" I was cut off by a pair of lips that belonged to a pitclaurly large mouth. I kissed him back of course. After about a mintue, I pulled away. There was a moment of silence. And then we both started talking at the same time.
"Cody I-"
"I'm sorry Des-"
And then we had the fight thing where we tell eachother to go first. And then I went. :)
"Cody, I'm sorry I shouldn't have yelled at you like that. I know you were trying to help me and I...." I rubbed my hand on my other arm neverously. He stepped closer to me and lifted my chin up with his hands.
"Destiny, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have did that. And I at least should have took my phone with me, but..." He paused. "I did it because I love you."
Then he hestinatly pulled me in for another kiss.
I heard the car pull up in the drive way and pulled away. Cody looked into my eyes for an answer to what he said. He knows I love him but for some reason I couldn't say it. The door opened and I sat on the couch. We wandered off in that direction when I was yelling at him. I wasn't doing it to loudly because I didn't want to wake anyone up. I could feel Cody's eyes still on me. I wasn't looking at him though.
"Cody, oh thank heaven!" said his mother as she walked over to him. Only then did he take his eyes off of me.
"Mom- I shouldn't have run off like that-" I didn't hear his reply because I left the room to go to my bed. And away from him.
