Dalton and I were in my mustang driving to my house with Derik following behind us. Dalton decided to go help me clean Maryse's wounds. My mind was stuck on what I had actually done since I was an idiot. 'You did it. It came from your mouth.'

I huffed as my hands tightened on the steering wheel. I said yes to Dalton to going to prom with him. 'Least you told him not to tell anyone but it might be a little late.' Satan snickered as he cut the connection with me. I also told him not to kiss me.

Ash seemed to enjoy doing that. "How's Maryse doing?" Dalton asked with a smile on his face. "Good. She's walking a little more." I told him smiling at the thought of my hellhound. She wasn't allowed to go to a lot of places. Ryne helped her outside.

Maryse was doing good. I sped up and took a left turn onto my street and the condos I lived in pulled into view. There were four of them. Mine, Kadan's, Derik's and Lucas's. So I could be as loud as I wanted and as hunter as I wanted since we lived further out.

Kadan wasn't calling the cops on me and neither was his parents. 'Unless they want to feel the wrath of Satan! Ha, ha!' 'Also because we are guests on their territory as hunters.' Satan huffed at me breaking his whole evil mojo going on.

I pulled into my driveway as Derik went to his house. Stopping the car I got out with Dalton. It was just gonna be us and Maryse. Enyr was with Lucas and Ryne was buying food for the house. I unlocked the door and went in with Dalton following after.

Maryse was on the couch resting and her head perked up. Her tail began to wag as I went over. I dropped my hobo bag on the table and got on the couch. Maryse lounged herself across me. "Have you been a good girl?" I asked rubbing her stomach. Maryse nodded.

'Or has she?'

Dalton took a seat next to Maryse who looked up at him. Dalton smiled at her. "You have everything for prom so far?" Dalton asked. "Everything except for a mask. I'm going mask shopping later." I told him looking out the window as Kadan's car pulled up.

Dalton nodded. 'Onto the cleaning horny teenager.' 'I am not horny. Last time I checked I was a virgin and who are you to talk shoving it up L-' Satan then cut our connection with an evil laugh. "I'm going to go get a cloth to clean Maryse's wounds." I told Dalton. He nodded as I walked into the kitchen.

Flimur stood there with a bowl of warm water and a small cloth. He pushed them to me. "Thank you." I told my house demon before going back to the living room. Maryse watched me as I got on the ground and set everything up.

"Can you hold her still and push her neck out more. But be careful." Dalton said. I watched as his eyes went gold confusing me as he tilted Maryse's neck. She began to growl. "Sh. He's just helping me." I told her running my hands through her fur. Maryse calmed just a little.

"Keep her still." I told him. Ash or Dalton whoever was in control nodded. 'Be careful.' I dipped the cloth in the warm water and moved near Maryse. I gently applied the cloth to her wounds on her neck. Maryse whimpered but Ash I decided held her still.

I got more up and continued to clean her wounds. I washed off the cloth making the water turn pink. I then went back to cleaning Maryse's wounds. Ash glanced at me as I continued to clean them until I decided they were clean from infection. "Maryse you should go get some rest on my bed." I told her.

Maryse nuzzled my hand before getting up and walking to my room. I heard my bed creak as she got up on my bed. 'You did good. No too hard of pressing or anything.' Usually when with wounds I was pressing down to prevent blood loss.

"I'll be right back." I told Ash before getting up and dumping out the water. Flimur had left a piece of bacon on the counter for Maryse. I grabbed it and went down to my bedroom where Maryse was sleeping on my pillows. "Here you go sweetie." I told her putting the bacon down.

I rubbed her head before leaving as she woke up to eat the bacon. I walked back to where Ash still in control was sitting on my leather sofa. He looked up and offered a small smile to me. I awkwardly sat down next to him unsure how to act.

This was Ash not Dalton. Dalton was much more sweet then Ash was. But here I was stuck with Ash. Not to mention he didn't seem prepared to relinquish his control on Dalton's body. 'If he was in wolf form it wouldn't be awkward for you at all now would it?'

Exactly!

Ash leaned back. "The day before prom the pack is celebrating Isadora's successful birth. My mom would like to know if you would like to come and yes your brothers can come to." Ash said staring at me. "I guess I can go." I told him with a shrug.

I mean Alana would want me to be there since I was her friend. 'You think?' I gave Satan the finger and he rolled his eyes at me. "You don't have to dress up at all. Just wear something nice." Ash said with a small smile.

"Like how nice?" I asked. "Just not too formal but not like your from the streets either." Ash said. 'I believe you can manage that.' "Why do I have some all mighty position?" I asked jokily. Ash shrugged. "Since you are my mate." Ash said. Then his eyes went blue and shock entered his face.

"I didn't mean it like that Isabella. Ash he tends to." Dalton said quickly. He looked really nervous. "It's fine." I mumbled. Dalton nodded. "But the celebration will be at the pack house. Isadora will be there. Right now when Kadan becomes beta she'd be next in line for beta.

Curiosity sparked inside of me. "So a female can take that position?" I asked. Dalton nodded. "There is also female alphas. My mom was one but she passed it on to be my dad's mate and Luna." Dalton said. 'Talk about devotion to him. Passing up being an alpha. She must be loyal.'

I nodded. "But if Isadora got a brother the two would compete for the position. Or sister. But whoever is more suit for the beta position gets it." Dalton said. I wonder if Alana ever will have anymore kids. Who knows. I watched as Ryne's car pulled in.

Best to get Dalton out before Mr. Grouchy comes in. Especially if he finds out I agreed to be his date. I still couldn't believe I did it. But Ryne would flip his shit and lots of threats would go Dalton's way. "Thank you for coming over and helping me with Maryse." I told him standing up.

Dalton nodded. 'Lead him out quickly.' I motioned for him to follow me. We walked out as Ryne walked in giving me a 'better explain' look. "No problem." Dalton said with a smile on his face. "You need a ride home?" I asked. "I'll run. Ash needs it." Dalton said.

He waved as he went to the woods. I turned away when he stripped my cheeks red. 'Still embarrassed of naked bodies you prude.' I turned back to see Dalton in wolf form staring at me. I waved goodbye and Dalton took off into the woods to return home.

I took in a deep breath before entering my house to face Ryne.

1331. Prom is gonna start in :Chapter 29: that's when it's gonna start. But Derik's prom outfit will be shown for the banner in the next chapter as the rest of the prom banners didn't have room. Until next time faithful marshmallows.
