"Can you believe it only a few days left until our graduation and then we can go tour NYU with Rory and Rodney." Nico said pulling Angel to him. Angel played with his shirt quietly. Angel never went to school and probably never would.

"I'm excited to. College. So many possibilities to be unlocked there." I said with a small grin.  'I wonder if there will be a spot  where we can run around.' 'There will Rory said a few miles up the neighboring pack Primal Valley has a running forest and gave us the ok to run there.'

Rory and Rodney went running all the time there. I took my phone out and checked my notifications. Kadan sent me a text on how some border patrol were looking around at some things and he'd give me more information when he got some.

The main thing we had been focusing on was finding Garrick. 'He is very intelligent I'll give him that. It took us less to find Gavial.' 'In that defense Gavial sent Isabella a letter and I doubt Garrick has the intentions to mate himself to Isabella.' 'If he does not even hell will stop me from ripping him apart.

"How's the search going?" Nico asked. "Cold trail. He is very intelligent." I told Nico. Nico nodded and looked at Angel with a small smile. "Do you have a good nose?" Nico asked Angel. "Sandy does. Or at least that's what I believe." Angel said with a shrug.

"Maybe we can go out and help and see how good you've been doing." Nico said. "That sounds eh." Angel said. "I promise we won't go to close to them. We can even find our own trail." Nico said giving Angel a hopeful loo. "Ok but only if you go make me mac and cheese. The thick and creamy one." Angel said getting up. "Yes ma'am." Nico said before pulling Angel along with him. 'I wonder what Isabella likes for lunch?' 'Ask her or eat with her if you are so interested.' 'Maybe I will. One day.'

Pushing myself up I stalked off into the kitchen. "Make three boxes." I told Nico. Nico rolled his eyes but got down some more boxes as I went to the table where my backpack was. I unzipped it and pulled out the scholarship offer from NYU.

I only got it recently maybe a month ago. Isabella got hers before me. She got multiple scholarships actually but decided to do NYU. I wasn't sure at first since she wanted to be close to people she knew. 'But know we are ok with it since she'll be near us and hopefully have fun.'

I hope she enjoyed college. I didn't want her not to enjoy college but resent it. 'I wonder if she'll do hunting while there.' Probably I didn't see Isabella giving up hunting any time soon. I was the only reason Isabella was going to college as she just wanted to hunt.

But with these classes she'll get to learn more about art which she loves to do. I smiled as I looked at all the things that came with the packet. A brochure concerning NYU. There was a packet to apply for the college and make it official.

I'd be staying in the dorms. I knew Alana and Kadan weren't. They were staying at Kadan's parents house for Isadora. Kadan was even looking into a part-time job to get some income and eventually a place for where he can raise his family. 'It's nice that the next-in-line to Beta has a heir already.'

If Alana and Kadan didn't have children Isadora would be the next one to be Beta. She'd still be the Beta even when she found her mate. It'd be her birth right. Just like if I was to have only a girl heir she'd be the female alpha and would only be Luna if she chose to. My mother could of been the female alpha to the White River pack if she chose to but she chose to be the Luna of Black Crescent Moon pack. My father wouldn't of protested even if she chose to be a female alpha.

The packs might of merged though to form one pack also expanding the territory and hunting grounds. 'More pack members too.' Werewolf packs were generally larger than a wolf pack. But they all start off small. 'Like Jonathan's pack. I believe his pack as thirteen wolves right now.'

Even Black Crescent Moon started out small. I remember the stories my Father told me of the first Alpha and Luna. Daniel Ashford and Darcia Ashford. They made this pack well formed the pack. No one knows what happened to them actually. They just disappeared one night and no one had seen them.

They could be alive. Werewolves were immortal. But even immortals can die. Werewolves simply didn't die of natural causes like disease and age. Battle wounds can kill us just like vampires and fae. 'I believe a war wiped out an entire coven of vampires once and it never reformed.'

A war also wiped out Red Claws. They were one of the strongest packs but a large-scale rogue attack happened. The attack wasn't very coordinated though hence some of the survivors. The Alpha and Luna died though. 'Derik's parents. But they died an honorable death. Fighting for their land and pack.'

I looked back at the packet. I wonder if Derik is going to college. Moving my fingers across the page I looked at some of the dorm numbers. I could ask him tomorrow and maybe we'll even end up sharing a dorm if he wants to go to NYU.

'I see him as a threat sometimes.' 'There is nothing going on between Derik and Isabella. I can guarantee you that. They are just close friends.' I was jealous at Derik at first but it cooled down. The person I was really jealous of upon first meeting them was very simply.

It was Lucas.

Lucas and Isabella had so much in common. They were both vessels and hunters and had similarities. Then they told me Lucas was gay and all jealousy fled out the back door at full speed. Being a werewolf meant getting easily jealous and possessive. Both sex typically.

I've seen Isabella jealous although she'd deny it straight to her grave. A waitress in New York City flirted with me and off Isabella went challenging her and she even kissed me to piss the waitress of. 'That was the best day of my life when Isabella kissed us willingly. Even if to piss off some slutty blond waitress.'

It was a good day. Good food and a willing kiss from Isabella. I bet she'd deny it though. I found her stubbornness cute and a challenge. I loved challenges. Most she-wolves and even human girls would throw themselves at me at the chance of being my mate.

Well she-wolves as human girls didn't know I had an actual mate. Although I had heard one whisper about the hot black hair mystery guy was her soulmate. 'Only if she knew we had a mate and it wasn't her.' Humans. If they only knew soulmates actually did exist.

Some humans had soulmates that they'd meet. But now a days humans got so bored of people and couldn't see lasting love in one person. New things come up all the time with that person. Your soulmate you'd go through thick and thin with. The worst of the worst.

They'd see the best and worse side of you and still love you. Soulmates would even love each other even if one was a killer. They couldn't bring themselves to hate them no matter how hard they tried. One of the reasons I knew Isabella and I would be together in the nearby future.

I was patient and would wait an eternity for her, two of them even. 'As would I.'

1313. So yeah. The book will be ending in a few chapters and book 8 starts. It will be called Satan's Ascension. I went to the library and will be going back tomorrow to check out a book. Until next time Ascended marshmallows.
