The day had come. The day that everyone had been waiting for since senior year started and summer approached with the thought of freedom happening. Just one more memory to make before out teachers send us off some of us off to college and the real world.

Prom.

Today was the day of prom. It was around three PM. Flimur had made a delicious lunch. He had made homemade mac and cheese with hamburger. Absolutely delicious. 'House demons are known for turning simple meals into 5-star meals.' I'd never need a human chef as long as Flimur was around.

I doubt Flimur would leave either. I treated him good and we compromised on things. But I sat at my desk in nothing but a towel. My hair was up to keep it from getting wet. I had Orchid wash my hair a day ago then took a shower today.

I smelt of a blend of Bath & Body Works that was a tropical scent. 'It smells very good.' I was on my laptop going through some emails while I air dried. My dress was laid out on my bed with the shoe box next to it and a bag with my mask in it.

My mask came in today. I thought I'd have to buy myself a mask from the store but thankfully it had come in. Thank Satan. 'Ha, ha. Your welcome.' I rolled my eyes as I got up and walked across the rug and to my bed.

Maryse was out in the living room resting in a dog bed Ryne had bought specifically for her. Maryse had decided she liked Caesar's bed so Ryne bought her own. Maryse loved it and it was either in the living room or my room depending on Maryse's mood.

I dropped the towel and picked up my black undergarments and slipped them on. Grabbing the skirt of the dress which was black and made of lace almost and slipped it on. I had bought a two piece dress. Next went the lace top with a jewel piece to cover my bra. I pushed it over my head.

I smiled at myself in the mirror. 'You look very nice.' Of course I did. I went over to my dresser and looked at the contents. The sword of my parents was there. I picked it up and took it out of it's sheath and held it.

The sword was heavy. Made of both mercury, iron and silver. Very efficient in killing most supernatural beings. A special blend of metals melted together. Iron killing fae very easily. The dark fae that need to be put down. Fae typically didn't cause much panic but mischief was there doing.

Hunters have constantly checked on fae mischief. 'They are very odd creatures.' Mhm. The mercury and silver was for werewolves both good in killing werewolves. Mercury was the first method until silver was discovered to be as good as mercury was. Mercury led to the silver finding actually as it as sometimes called quick silver.

I ran my thumb over the knight engraving and jewels encrusted into the hilt. The sword was old very old as it was an heirloom. I put it back in it's sheath and on my dresser. Eventually I'd get something to hang it up with. It'd be worth waiting for hopefully.

My eyes drifted to a ring. A blue sapphire with a knight engraving in the metal. Something my mother had given to me. I slipped it onto my finger before eyeing the rest of my limited jewelry. I didn't wear lots of jewelry. 'You could afford it but it tends to get wrecked.'

Hunting could be vicious. The only thing that has survived my hunting days was my denim jacket. I've had that for years. At one point it only had one patch. I see my patches as rewards. Each time I do something I see worthy I add another patch.

Recently I added a wolf head. Something to represent the revenge I had gotten for my parents death by slaughtering the rogue that killed my parents. Then there was a necklace made of steel. The charm was a wolf and gem. Danielle gave it to me saying each Luna received it.
