CHAPTER 13

"Tae, Chim," the two were woken up by the slight shake from their friend, "wake up now."

Taehyung opened his eyes and see the bloodshot red eye of Hoseok. It seemed he had been crying.

He woke the small boy on his arms, and pulled him up.

Jin came to them, "Guys, were going to meet Yoongi now."

"Oh really?? He's fine now?" Taehyung and Jimin were excited to see Yoongi. They had smiles on their face when Jin said they could meet Yoongi.

But soon, their smiles turned to frown when they got no answers from the elders, just sympathetic faces.

"Waeyo? Why aren't you answering?" Jimin walkep up to them. "Is he fine?"

Jin wasn't able to face Jimin and sat down on the chair. Hoseok didn't have the courage either so he let Namjoon tell him.

"Namjoon hyung," Jimin grabbed at his large shoulder with his small hands, "Is Yoongi hyung fine? We can meet him now because he's all fine now,right?"

Namjoon couldn't speak, he let out a sigh and he held the small hands now grabbing his shirt.

A single tear fell from his eyes. Normally, Namjoon doesn't cry.

Jimin got confused. He grabbed the elder's collar weakly, "Hyung please say something!"

"We can see him for the last time Minnie,"
Jin spoke out.

"What do you mean for the last time?" Taehyung was shocked.

Jimin's body went stiff. His mind went black.

Jin's words echoed in his mind.

"No!" He shouted at Namjoon, "Yoongi hyung is not going to die. Hoseok hyung please say something!" The small boy looked at him but Hoseok could only cry.

Taehyung was still in shock. He stood still and he was tearing up.

"Yoongi is all fine and we're going to go and talk to him now. You're all just acting! Even the doctor is just telling lies! Yoongi hyung even promised me that he'll take me to his studio tomorrow and he'll let me listen to his new songs. I'm sure he's okay. I don't believe you all. You're all just telling lies. Right Namjoon hyung?"

He grabbed on to Namjoon's collar with all his might. Namjoon shook his head and couldn't do much but to only hug the sobbing tiny boy in his arms.

"Hyung! Yoongi hyung cannot die! Don't lie. You're all just liars!" Jimin's broken voice were muffled in Namjoon's strong arms.

The others could only feel sympathy for the boy and were in grief.

The five of them were in the room.

After each of them bid their farewell to their friend, they left Jimin in the room.

"Hyung...." only the small soft voice can be heard in the room. "I'm here."

"Yoongi hyung, they said you won't wake up anymore."

"Hyung, how would I live without you?"

"You told me you won't leave me... But why did you do this?"

"You shouldn't have saved me that time. You should have let me die instead of you."

"Hyung please open your eyes one more time and say that you love me."

The small boy was holding the older's bruised and pale hands.

There was only little warmth.

"Hyung," he was now sobbing, "Please wake up!"

"Please don't leave me like this! I can't live like this. Even Jin, Namjoon, Hoseok and Taehyung hyung miss you so much. We want you to come back. Please i beg you."

"Please come back Yoongi hyung..."

The said boy simply laid there on the bed. His skin getting paler and paler as the clock ticked.

Jimin was now hopeless.

He got no sign of movement from Yoongi.

Jimin stood there and waited for the older to wake up. But even after waiting for so long, the older just slept there. The warmth he felt before was no longer there and he was only holding on to the older's lifeless hands.

"Hyung...." Jimin softly called him and held on to the weak hands of Yoongi. "Thank you for everything."

Tears strained the younger's cheeks.

"I'm sorry Yoongi hyung. I love you." he whispered and kissed him for the last time.

Just at that time, the doctors and nurses were rushing in with four others standing in the doorway.
Jimin could faintly see the single line showing on the monitor.

"Yoongi hyung..." he weakly whispered.

He could only remember his body being dragged by someone and his hands slowly slipping from the lifeless cold hands of the older.

Then everything went blank.

*POV*

"Son, are you there?"

"Appa, why are you calling early in the morning?"

"It's about your brother. He-"

"What happened?"

"He passed away last night."

"WHAT!?"

:D I'm happy I wrote this in advance. I can update it quite fast. But the next chap is going to be updated... really late. Sorry in advance. 😅
