chapter 3

Hey guys I'm so happy to finally be writing this book. I really hope y'all enjoy without further notice here is chapter 3!

"Addie, We need to talk." Elliot said as I made my way to my pourch.

" Now is not a good time Elliot, I have a lot going on." I replied just wanting to go inside and sleep. Today has been a really long day.

"Adds, I know. Thats why I'm here hunny. I know information about.. the accident." he replied. My heart dropped. How did he know?

"What are you trying to say Elliot! Do you even know what happened?" I said, pretty pissed. He broke up with me after Andrew died, He don't know what is going on in my life or what has been happening.

"Addie, I know it sounds crazy, but here me out, I have a lot of connections and find out information very easily." he said trying to re assure me to trust him. Just as I was about to open my mouth to speak Officer Banks walked over to me.

 " Is he bothering you Ms. Summers, I can have him removed from premises if you would like." She said holding onto her Mic..

"No its fine, I made earlier arrangements to discuss something with him, You don't have to worry. Just go in and make yourself at home. I'll be in later. We are going to go outback." I replied. She nodded and headed towards the door and let herself in. I led Elliot to the back yard to the swing set.  I sat down and looked at him as I began slowly swinging, " You have a limited amount of time before she asks you to leave. I have to pack all my stuff I would like to keep into boxes shortly to go live with.... him." I said slowing down coming to realize I have to see him again.

" Wait him as in HIM?" he asked  dropping his mouth open as I had when I first heard about the arrangement. 

"Yes him... So Tell me, What do you know about what happened?" I asked not really knowing what to expect next.

" Well Addie,Whenever we broke up , I realized I mad a huge mistake. I was pulled into a gang by force other than choice. Well one of our missions was to take town Dark Queen.. I had no idea Adds..." he said beginning to cry, "Adds, Dark Queen was your mom. Me and the others were sent on the mission by Boss. I do not know his real name, but I do know he wasn't going to give up. They were long time rivals... Addie he threatened Libby." He said. At this moment he was sobbing. Libby was his little sister. A little sweet heart around the age of six years old. She had pretty blonde curls with bright green eyes, eyes just like her brothers. Elliot Practically raised her as his own.

"Elliot, where are you going with this conversation." I asked, truthfully not wanting to hear his answer.

" Addalynn," He started to say while grabbing my hands, stopping me from swinging, and looking into my eyes, " I am not the one who did it, I didn't know it was her until we got there. One look at her and all i seen was you. I could never do that to you, But i watched her take her last breathe. It was terrible. Have you ever seen anyone take their last breathe Addie? Like even if its just a pet, It is absolutely terrible." He said looking in fear as he closed eyes. It was like he couldn't get the picture, Or the memory out of his head. " One moment you see someone walking the next you watch as their life is taken, out of the world. The look in their eyes as they realize its the end. The one single tear falling down their face , that's there last emotion if they're lucky enough to get it." He said pausing in between sobs. I felt tears fall down my face. Why wouldn't she tell me.. Did Andrew know about it?  All these questions and many more run through my head quickly getting interrupted by no other than Officer Banks.

"Addalynn, Its time you say goodbye to your little friend and come inside and pack. We have a very long night ahead of us." She said. I looked over at the heart broken Elliot and he just nodded and got up to leave mouthing out "I'm sorry" before he walked out of my sight.

 I went inside and ran upstairs to m,y room and fell into my bed crying.

"Ms. Summers, I know it's very bad timing but we must begin packing your stuff." Said Officer Barks walking into my room. I just nodded and started putting my room into boxes and reminiscing over mine and my moms photos. By the end of the night my room was all packed and tear filled boxes of memories were ready to go to my new life, I on the other hand was not. Thinking about my dad's family and what my new life would be like soon ended as my eyes slowly closed and I was fast asleep.

 The next morning I was awoke by Officer Barks.

"Addalynn, Time to get up and get ready. We have to be at the station in one hour." she said bringing back all the memories of yesterday.

"Okay." I replied quietly as I slowly got up. I went to the outfit I left out while i was packing and got dressed. It was a pair of light faded high wasted skinny jeans and my crop top jersey. I threw my hair up in a curly messy bun and did my usual makeup before throwing my stuff I used back into boxes. I went downstairs and threw on the shoes I wore yesterday. I went to open the door to go smoke a ciggerate, yes I smoke when I am stressed! Don't Judge, when I was greeted by my two best friends. Derek and Drew.

"Adds, come here baby girl." Derek says pulling me into a hug. "Whats going on?" He asked gesturing to my cig.

"Well yesterday I told you about my mom, ... and today I'm being forced to go move in with... Him.." I said quietly. " I was going to find y'all after the meeting to tell y'all goodbye, but y'all found me." I said trying to joke but only ended up crying.

" Him.. as in THE HIM?" Drew asked, earning him a smack in the back of the head from Derek.

"Who the fuck do you think HIM means you dumb-ass? Think before you speak!" Derek responded turning to me," Em sorry Adds, I know how hard this is for you, for all of us. You're a\our best friend so we all go through it together." He said wrapping me in his arms again. I threw my cig as Drew walked over and joined us in the hug. As I cried one of them played with my hair and the other on rubbed my back, Knowing those are the two things that calm me down,I mean what girl doesn't love back rubs and her hair being played with... even tho my messy bun was now ruined. 

After what seemed like a quick bonding moment, it was already a half hour later and I needed to get going to the station. We said our quick goodbyes promising to keep in touch as much as possible, and even when not possible we would still find a way, they were heading out and I was heading off toward my new future as I got in my Baby, my car, and followed Officer Barks to go see the man who left me.

I blared "Piece by Piece" by Kelly Clarkson through my radio on replay until we reached the station. As I pulled in I turned down my radio and tried to calm myself down.  I was shaking so bad and when I parked my vision became blurred by tears. "You can do this Adds, you can do this. Just walk in there and... What am  I supposed to do? What am I suppose to say? Does He remember me?" I said to myself not realizing that I was talking out loud. Also not realizing That Officer Barks was waiting while knocking on my window of the car. I opened the door and got out. Without a word, we walked into the station.
