Chapter 15 Thoughts from the Murderer

Author's note: This chapter is showing what is going on in Tropius's mind as he carried out those murders.

(Tropius's POV)

[Chapter 3]

Day 2, the day that Mewtwo forced us to play the dreadful game. When I realised I was the murderer, I was simply dumbfounded. I was in a trance.

Maybe I should just attempt to kill one of them right now. I would be accused, that's for sure. But I could probably save 11 other lives.

But, I was afraid that Mewtwo would not allow my martyrdom. He might even appoint a new murderer. Then, my life would just be lost.

Furthermore, I have a family to look after. I had a sweet wife, two lovely children, and an elderly father to look after. How could I just give up and abandon them?

No, I have no choice. I have to win this game. My family needs me. I want to live. Therefore, I will strive, I will win.

[Chapter 4]

Despite my earlier intentions, please believe me when I say I did my utmost to help the Pokemon destroy the walls of the Fantasy. I almost exhausted my supply of Lum, Pecha and Sitrus berries. It was tiring doing this arduous task of harvesting the berries.

When I saw that the walls could not be knocked down, while the will of the other Pokemon were shattered, my will was actually fortified. Not to escape, but to start the murders. Mewtwo had made his point. It is pointless to attempt to defy him.

[Chapter 5] (Rubble)

I took quite a while to think of how to kill the Pokemon. Machamp was my first target. I didn't have any ill feelings against him. It was just his bad luck.

I waited til everyone was asleep before setting out to kill Machamp. I flew to the outside of his room. (through the windows). I saw that his windows were slightly opened.

I scattered Sweet Scent into his room before flying away. From afar, I could hear Machamp wheezing and coughing. I also noticed the windows were now opened wider, probably to get rid of the annoying powder. Seizing the golden opportunity I was given, without any hesitation I sprayed huge volumes of Sleep Powder into the room. Machamp became drowsy and soon fell asleep.

Then, I repeatedly shot Energy Balls into the room's ceiling. Initially, it didn't do much damage. The ceiling remained intact. I was about to give up when I remembered Machamp's eyes staring straight at me just before he fell asleep.

No, I cannot give up. Or else Machamp would just accuse me the moment he awakes. I had to kill him.

I wanted to knock the ceiling down so as to frame a Psychic Pokemon for my murder. So, I continued my onslaught of Energy Balls. Those green balls rammed into the ceiling a few grueling minutes, the ceiling collapsed, trapping Machamp beneath it. Blocks of ceramic pinned Machamp down. To my pleasant surprise, the rubble actually blocked Machamp's joints. In this way, it caused Machamp's blood not to flow through the arms, so Machamp probably wouldn't have the strength to lift the blocks up once he wakes up. He probably would just die of suffocation.
