George's P.O.V
I sat in the waiting room looking at the ground. Blood on my hands and shirt. Her blood on my hands and shirt. I can't believe she took a bullet for me. She really took a bullet for me. A hand rubbed my back. I looked up to see Matt rubbing my back.

"She'll make it through," he said with a reassuring tone.

"I hope..." I said looking back at the ground.

The waiting room door opened and all of the guys stood up. I looked to see Deuce and Sam. I stood up and walked over to Deuce.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"She's my friend," Deuce replied calmly. "I can be here too."

All of the guys took a step towards Deuce and he took a step back. He kissed Sam's cheek.

"I'll be out in the car," he said to her before giving her another kiss.

Sam nodded as he walked out. She was in the same state as me. Blood on her hands and her dress.

"You must be George," a nurse said walking up. She had blood everywhere on her.

"Yes," I replied. "I am George. Is she alright??"

The nurse nodded. "She is fine, just unconscious at the moment. You can go into her room, but only two at a time."

I nodded as I looked at the guys. Danny then spoke up.

"Even though I want to see her really badly, George and Jordan can go first. They've been emotionally connected to her."

I nodded as Jordan and I followed the nurse to her room. As I walked into the room, she looked horrible. Monitors were hooked up to her and she just looked.. lifeless. I walked in and sat in a chair right next to her bed. I put my hand on her pale hand and looked at her face. I looked at Jordan who was ready to cry. He put his hand on my shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze.

"I'm going to let Danny in," Jordan said. "Even if she is unconscious, I still don't want her knowing that I cried."

I chuckled a bit as he walked out of the room. I looked back at Lilly and laid my head on the bedside.

"I came as soon as I was called," a familiar female voice said.

I looked up to see Asia standing in the doorway. I stood up and walked over to her.

"I know it wasn't right going into your house," she explained. "But I brought you extra clothes."

I looked down at her legs and saw my little Ava peeking out behind them.

"She wanted to come and meet her father's new girlfriend," she explained. "How is she doing, anyway."

Ava ran over to me, I crouched down to her level and she gave me a hug. I picked her up and spun her around.

"She's in a stable state," I replied giving Ava a kiss on the cheek. "They didn't say when she'll wake up though."

Asia nodded, "I got a call from Danny and as soon as I got off the phone, I booked a flight over here."

I smiled at her. "That's so nice of you."

"Yeah," she replied. "I wanted to also drop Ava off before I left for London for a month. Will she be up for taking care of her while I'm gone."

"I would say it shouldn't be a problem," I replied setting Ava down.

Asia smiled and handed me my clothes. I gave her a hug before she walked off. Ava stood in the doorway and smiled up at me. I waved her to come and sit down with me. I sat down and she hopped up onto my lap.

"She's pretty," Ava said leaning over caressing her face.

I smiled at her immediate approval. I looked up to see Danny walk in. His face was red and puffy. I smiled and whispered to Ava that she should give uncle Danny a hug. She got up and ran over to Danny, she jumped up onto Danny making him catch her and she gave him a hug. I smiled at her cuteness. That little girl right there is my life and I'm so glad Asia actually lets me see her.

After everyone had their turn with visitation, most of them went back to the tour bus. Ava chose to stay with me. Sam, Ava, and I sat in the room waiting for Lilly to wake. Ava and Sam were sleeping on the floor. I was still up, of course, but I was fighting sleep. It was at least 4 in the morning. Sleep soon took over on me.

About an hour or so later, I felt a hand running through my hair. I slowly opened my eyes and looked up. Lilly was looking down at me. I smiled and pulled her gently into a hug. I pulled back and put my hand on her cheek.

"Why take the bullet for me?" I asked.

She smiled, "remember when I told you I'd take a bullet for you? Well, I meant it. I care so much for you."

I smiled and pulled her in for a kiss. After a bit, I pulled back.

"I want you to meet someone," I said standing up.

I walked over to Ava and gently woke her. She rubbed her eyes and stood up. She looked at Lilly and walked over to her.

"You must be little Ava," Lilly said. "I've heard so much about you."

Ava smiled and climbed up onto the bed and gave Lilly a hug.

"Careful Ava," I said. "She's in a fragile state."

Ava nodded and caressed her cheek.

"You're beautiful," she said making Lilly smile.

"And so are you," Lilly smiled.

Ava returned the smile and gave Lilly another hug.

"I hope you don't mind if we take care of her while her mom is in London." I said.

Lilly looked up. "George, I have a house in West Virginia and you have a house in L.A. I can't."

"I've already have that covered," I explained. "Sam and Deuce will look after the house while you're in L.A. With me. And if you don't like it there after a month, you can go home and I'll visit you. If you do, we'll sell your house and move you in with me."

Lilly sat there for a moment, contemplating. "Deal."

I smiled and sat next to her on the bed. At this time, Sam was up too. We all sat in her room and talked. Doctors came in and ran tests. She was set to go later on in the day. I gave Lilly a kiss and went and got changed.

She took a bullet for me.
