It's Thursday night so, as usual, it was pack meeting night which was every Thursday but since the recent threat, that Derek, Scott, and Peter babbled about all week, came along it was like everyday we had pack meetings. Which was fine with everyone but me. That was because I was a human boy who was weak, pathetic, and useless whereas my circle of friends – probably not Derek, Jackson, or Peter though just saying they kind of hate me – which consisted of werewolves, a hunter, and a banshee with amazing abilities that can actually go against this new threat –that I wasn't familiar with since I drowned out every time it came up – while I'm here just plain fragile human Stiles. Maybe I could just get out of here without them noticing I was gone I mean it's not like they actually need me here. From the feeling of being helpless and flustered I sighed and quite louder then I anticipated, because all the heads in the room were now on me.

"What?" I asked as their piercing stares made me a bit uneasy.

"Are we boring you?" Derek asked.

I took a minute to answer as I wasn't really bored I just didn't see the point of me being here. As I fumbled with possible answers in my head, Derek's intense stare made my neck hairs rise and my breathing hitch.

"Well?" He asked his eyebrows furrowed.

"No". I finally answer.

He looked at me then straight to my heart. But I'm guessing it was enough to convince him since his eyes flew straight back up to look into mine. I shook slightly in my seat trying my best not to feed my urge to get up and bolt for the door which I stupidly kept eyeing.

"Then why you sigh?" He asked.

It took a minute for my mind to register that he was now oh so close to me, all in my personal space.

I cleared my throat, I mean we might have spent enough time around each other lately but hell he was still a little frightening, "I... I just had to go to the bathroom but I didn't want to interrupt you while you were talking". I told him which was partially true being as my shakiness brought the urge to pee.

"Oh okay". He breathed, "by all means go to the bathroom then".

I was about to get up but he was still towering over me like a wolf --pun intended-- did with it's prey. It took me a good minute to muster up the courage to get up and make my way to the bathroom. I had forgot that the only rooms that were good in what was left of the Hale house was Derek's room, Peter's room, the bathroom, and the creepy dusty basement which I would never go down at again, which was all because of me and Isaac playing hide and seek from Scott. I know it's a tad bit childish for us high schoolers but hell you can never not enjoy the perks of hide and seek.

Finally I found my way to the bathroom. It was much better then any room in the house and I oddly enough like it as it was painted my favorite color, sky blue, with the nice intricate black triskelions painted nicely about the sky blue walls. That was a stipulation from me since sourwolf had no vision for decorating the bathroom.

I quickly used the bathroom, I washed my hands and debated profusely with myself if I wanted to climb out of the window and make a break for it to my jeep. I mean it wasn't like I was needed here much so why not escape. But I told myself to just go with dignity and not from fear of being thrusted into the wall by sourwolf, who did that every time I tried to leave during pack meetings. Hell I'd go out in dignity, but not the front door shit I'm brave but not brave enough for my back to be hurting from being pinned against the wall.

"Stiles?" Derek called almost in a growl, "what's taking so long?"

"Nothing". I called back, "just a really long wiz you know". I lied feebly.
