Digging up diamonds
Meeting mermaids
And anchoring in the air
Trying and trying
Again the next day
Gold stickers, A+'s
And stuck on the fridge
Class after class
Essay after essay
Chore after chore
And finally a certificate
Happiness and hope
And flawless mess
Mutual marvels
