I had my arm around Katys waist the whole time. I didn't want to make her feel too uncomfortable but I wanted her to know that even this early on, I'd be there to protect her.
Every time I tried to kiss her cheek She'd shy away.
It was probably the cutest thing I've ever seen.
The way her nose crinkles when she laughs, or how her eyes light up as she smiles.
I've been waiting for a girl like you. (kudos to One direction.)
I bumped my hand against hers as we walked to the car and she took it without hesitation.
"Carter your in back with Delaney this time.", I smiled at Katy who was just blushing her heart out. Aw.
"Do you really need the distraction?", I turned back snarling at Carter. Douchebee.
He just laughed and proceeded to open the car door for his girl.
Katy skipped around to the other side before plopping in next to me.
I started the car and set the radio to all the newest hits. I heard the down beat and before I knew it I heard 2 beautiful voices, and Carter singing.
I WAS LEFT TO MY OWN DEVI-I-I-ICES
MANY DAYS FELL AWAY WITH NO THING TO SHOW
AND THE WALLS KEPT TUMBLING DOWN IN THE CITY THAT WE LO-O-O-OVE!
GRAY CLOUDS ROLL OVER THE HILLS BEING ING DARKNESS FROM ABO-O-O-OVE!
BUT IF YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES!
DOES IT ALMOST FEEL LIKE NO THINGS CHANG ED AT ALL AND IF YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES
DOES IT ALMOST FEEL LIKE YOU'VE BEEN HERE BEFORE
HOW AM I GOING TO BE AN OPTIMIST ABOUT THIS
HOW AM I GOING TO BE AN OPTIMIST ABOUT THI-I-I-IS!
They car ride was enjoyable. Yet faster then I would've hoped. I held hands with Katy the whole way which only made me more nervous about her meeting the rest of the boys.
What if she had an eye for Shawn?
Or Cameron.
Or Jack J.
Or Jack G.
Or Aaron.
Or Matt.
Or Brent.
Or god no not Taylor.
I sighed as we pulled into the complex.
Here goes nothing.
