Chapter 23

*Hayes*

I couldn't do it anymore. If I didn't go to the police soon I would have the guilt built up on my shoulders.

I sighed as I looked at Katy through the window.

I thought back to what Delaney had said about her.

I froze for a second trying to imagine it.

Fair skin, tall, medium sized, long dirty blonde hair, no scars.

She was lovely.

I could see her smile.

The thought made me grin.

What I would give to see it in person.

I was drawn back to real life when Nash patted my shoulder.

"Good pick wasn't she?", Nash smirked before staring into the window.

"Your sick. You know that right?", I spat in his direction and he just laughed.

"No. I pick my whores just as anybody else does. They are woman. Hungry for sex. Nothing ever makes them stop. Plus it's not like she had anything to go back to. Everyone hates her.", He shrugged his shoulders and took a bite of a cookie.

My cool was wearing off really quickly.

I stood up and punched him straight in the face.

"Your an asshole. Before you think of coming back to magcon, go get help. or else your out Nash. Brothers or not. You have to stop.", I spun on my heel and went to go stand by Delaney.

She was in tears.

I was confused until I saw it.

I looked through the glass to see her.

Head shaven, bandages and stitches coursing her scalp.

My breath caught in my throat.

I couldn't look at her.

What has Nash done.

*Katy*

I started to see light.

My eyes fought to open but in about 10 minutes they did.

It stung at first,

the light.

But as soon as I opened them fully it was gone.

A nurse saw me and called for people.

"Dr.Lawry! She is awake!! We need pain killers fast or she will stress out her tissue!"

I raised an eyebrow confused before I was moved into another room.

I smiled knowing that I had parents.

I just wanted to see their faces again.

After being left alone for about 30 minutes a door opened. Delaney and the some boys walked in.

"Delaney?", I looked at her trying to piece everything together.

"Oh baby Kates!!", She rushed in and hugged me hard.

I squealed a bit and hugged her back smiling.

"Kates you remember me right?", She held my face squeezing my cheeks together hard.

I furrowed my eyebrows and nodded.

"Yes. Delaney yes I know who you are your kind of hurting my face now.", I licked her hand and laughed.

She just squealed and ran in circles a couple time to get rid of energy.

I laughed even harder and sat up.

A tall blonde laughed at her.

I raised an eyebrow.

"Not to sound rude.. but who are you guys?", I questioned.

"I mean if I've met you I'm sorry but I don't remember a whole lot.", I added.

The boys went through introducing themselves.

One was just staring at me though. It was a bit weird.

"Hayes.", Matthew nudged his shoulder.

"huh what?!", Hayes jolted coming out of his daze.

"Introduce yourself."

"Oh uh I'm Hayes.", He smiled.

My heart melted.
