Chapter Seven

-Meredith's POV-
Once Luke started talking in complete sentences, and not avoiding me and only responding to my questions in one word answers, the whole thing became a lot more fun. His ocean blue eyes captivated me, it was unusual for someone to have such bright blue eyes.

After a bit the bandana boy brought back a fourth Australian guy to join us, he had insane hair, a bright red color. He looked slightly confused when he saw we were still here but the curly haired boy explained the whole situation to him.

Once the bandana boy had talked to him the redhead guy was completely understanding and chill about us. He set to work picking up boxes and telling Bret where to put stuff. This guy was really loud but also extremely funny, I could tell Bret enjoyed talking to him. Luke continued to apologize to me and I kept saying it was my fault, not his; this is how we ended up shouting and laughing at each other capturing everyone's attention

"IT WAS MY FAULT!" "

"NO IT WASN'T!" "

"YEAH IT WAS!" "

"NO IT WASN'T!" "

"YES!" "

"NO!" we started laughing but was cut off when the bandana boy from earlier yelled

"IT WAS ALL LUKE's FAULT!" Then we looked at him,

"I feel really bad that you girls had to do so much!"

-Bret's POV-
We both looked at each other

"It was really no big deal." we said together.

"This was more fun than going to the mall and doing nothing." I noticed Meredith frowned a little but I had no clue why she would, we didn't have any plans. The guy still frowned but then suddenly his face lit up revealing his dimples, adorable dimples might I add,

"You guys should come to Derp Con!" I gave him a confused look,

"We asked about this earlier but we didn't get a real answer, what the heck is a Derp con?" The guy smiled again-gosh, he had a really beautiful smile. It reached his ears and his beautiful hazel eyes lit up. AN/ I'm Ash trash oops

"Derp con is a convention for our fans, the 5SOSfam."

"5SOSfam?" Still smiling brightly, he explained,

"We're in a band called 5 Seconds of Summer, our fan base calls themselves the 5SOSfam because they feel more like a family, rather than a fandom." I realized I had heard that name before, as I was trying to place the memory, Meredith spoke up

"That's so cool! So we're technically in the midst of celebrities and we didn't even realize?!" The guy giggled, not a laugh, a full on giggle

"We're not celebrities!" I suddenly remembered where I heard the name 5 Seconds of Summer from

"Mer, they're that band that you reacted to awhile ago like in 2012 when we first met!" I give her a second to remember and I see her face light up. She turns to the guys

"I loved your song Unpredictable I never looked you guys up but I listened to some of your other music and Never Be was definitely my second favorite! I loved the bass in those songs, actually I love the bass in all the songs!" The Asian guy smiled AN/ IM SORRY I KEEP CALLING CALUM ASIAN THATS JUST HOW BRET SEES HIM SORRYYY

"You must be a cal pal gal then!" I looked at him even more confused,

"Do I want to know what that means?" He smiled also revealing a bunch of cute dimples. What is it with these Australian boys and adorable dimples? The guy from before spoke up

"So you'll come?" I looked to Meredith, she nodded and we spoke together,

"We'd love to!"
