The morning practise has ended. And at that time, my whole body was feeling so heavy that I just wanted to lay on my bed forever. I opened my hotel room with my card, threw my bags in one side and was trying very hard to push my body towards the bed but I fell down on the mat of the floor and took a nap. It was around 7 in the morning. The morning session was very rough, 50 rounds of the park, 75 push ups, 99 squats and then high jumps. I had cramps all over my body." Wake up, wake up, it's a brand new day, wake up." The voice of my alarm woke me alarm and shattered my dream to sleep for an hour. I walked inside the bathroom, washed my face, took a bathe as my jersey was sweating a lot and I was doing a self talk with myself while looking at the mirror when my phone started ringing. "Yes, I know, I know, I will be there in an hour." I assured the person at the end of the line that I will be on time.
Today I was going to advertise for a hair related TV commercial. The director told me that I would be accompanied with a Bollywood actress, I was used to this, to meet different talents of different fields though nobody interested me that much but still I looked forward for every opportunity to meet new people. I got in my car and was on my way to the shoot location.
Present Time.
The director shouted cut but still my mind was diverted and I was looking into the eyes of Anushka's. We had to look at the camera and stand still while holding each other. I had put a tight grip on her back and was holding her very tightly. She was not resisting or anything like that but said, "Cut". I just blinked a few times not being able to understand anything when she said again, "Cut, the shoot is over, you can let go off me now." "Oh! I am sorry, did not see that coming." I tried to hide my silliness and acted as if I did not hear anything though I did. "It's completely fine. I get this a lot." She winked at me and smiled. I smiled too and felt like all my tiredness and exhaustion has gone away. For the first time in life, I was on time for a shoot and felt very happy about it and wished that it would end as soon as possible and I would get a little more time to sleep but when I entered the location, the crew told me that the actress was not there yet, hate this think about celebrities #never on time #same thing happens with me too. The assistant director showed me the way to my room and I just sat there on my chair, wondering what to do next and in the next few seconds I got myself a nap. Knock, knock. "Come in." "Sir, we are ready to shoot. The actress has arrived." "Okay, I will be there in a minute." I replied as a crew member called out for me. I walked out of the green room and saw a girl rushing inside from the front door and was distributing samosas to everybody. She went to the director and said, "Sorry, sorry, sorry. Dood ubal gaya tha." The director who was in a very angry mood laughed and said, "koi baat nhee jee chlta hai. Ab shoot shuru kre?" She nodded. She saw me and came towards me offering me a samosa and said, "Hi, I am Anushka. Sorry, I was late for the shoot. I hope you don't mind." "No, it's alright. Indeed I should thank you. I got to sleep for a little while. I can't eat this, so many calories. It will affect my health." She smiled and said, "No problem. I will be there in a minute, okay." "Yeah, sure."
