Sam and Dean x Reader

Imagine finding a puppy and bringing it back to the bunker not knowing how to tell the boys. So you try to hide it......

You were taking your regular running path this morning. Sam had convinced you to start running three years ago when you got to the bunker to relieve stress.

It helped.

A lot.

When you collided the Winchester's three years ago you were in a bad state. Losing your parents to a Demon and your sister killed by a vampire.

Needless to say, you were tanking. You had met them before in a hunt. They were so genuine and really made you smile. But your father was never to keen on the Winchester's. Ever since his run in with John years ago. Dad never trusted him since he got Dan Harvelle killed that night the three were together.

Dad constantly reminded you of that story but once the Winchester's left and your family was killed, you went down hill. You couldn't handle the pain and suffering. Endless night of crying, drinking, and making little cuts in your wrist was all you did to relieve some of the pain. But nothing helped.

One day, you decided to end it all. End the pain, end the crying. You sat for hours with a gun, fully loaded in one hand, and your cell phone with Dean's number on the screen in the other.

Finally calling Dean, he kept you on the phone until he and his bother got there. They only lived a few blocks away and drove and fast as they could.

After that day, they took you to the bunker and patched you up as best as they could.

You gained the little weight that you had dropped when you drank all the time and ate nothing. The scars on your wrist have now all gone away and you felt great.

Making your way back to the bunker, you decided to pass through town today to grab a coffee for yourself. Before reaching the little corner shop you past by the local animal shelter.

Today was "National Adopt A Dog Day". They had all of there puppies and full gowns outside on the lawn for all the see. You looked around and didn't touch because you knew how Dean felt about dogs and never wanted one.

But just before you walked away you coauthor glance of the sweetest golden retriever puppy in the world. It's eyes were perfect and you couldn't leave it there.

Filling out a few sheets of paper work, you grabbed your new dog, which you named (y/d/n), and skipped the coffee to head straight home.

You thought it was perfect because Sam and Dean were in a hunt and not supposed to be back for a few days so it gave you some time to get used to the puppy and allow it to adjust.

Reaching the bunker, you set the puppy down and it ran all around the bunker. Running up to you and licking your face. It made you so happy. Watching as the puppy ran around and explored, you heard Dean's ring tone go off on your phone.

"Hey (y/n) how's it going?"

"Good. Just got back in from a run this morning."

"Running? You've been spending way too much time with Sam."

"Have not! And it's good for you babe-"

Dean and you have been seeing each other for about two years now. He had helped you so much that you did everything you could to repay him back and you both just fell instantly in love.

"Well, whatever. Called to say we will be home in less than an hour-"

"WHAT? I-I mean. Great! Just gotta do a little cleaning. Got go go-" you hung the phone up and dug your fingers through you hair.

"(Y/d/n) come here boy!" (Y/d/n) ran through the Library and into your arms. "We gotta hie you for a bit until I can tell the guys without them yelling." He barked back at you causing you to smile.

You brought him into your room and stuffed him in the back corner under all of your unfolded clothing. "Stay and wait-" He sat and listened to your command. Sitting in the corner of your bed, you waited and waited until Dean was going to flip.

"Babe, we're home-" Rang through the bunker from Dean.

You stay on your bed, just waiting a bit.

"You smell that Sam?"

"Smell what?" Sam asked.

"Smells like dog- we don't have a dog-"

"I don't smell anything-" Sam commented placing his bags on the map table.

"Hey guys!" You walked over to Dean first giving him a good kiss and them a hug for Sam. "Miss you guys!"

"Missed you too-" Dean grabbed you waist and pulled you in closer.

You all stopped when you heard three little barks come from down the hallway.

"(Y/n) was that a puppy?" Dean asked you pulling away from you.

"What? Pish- no. Just, uh, just a new ring tone on my phone-" You hesitantly spoke. You always were bad at lying.

"(Y/n)?" Dean grabbed you wrist and pulled it forward eyeing the phone in your hand.

"Okay, it was adopt a dog day at the shelter and I couldn't say no! Please, can we keep him?" Dean pushed past me and headed towards our room. "Don't hurt him Dean! He's just a puppy!"

Dean opened the door to find the little puppy chasing and barking at its tail in the middle of the room.

"Looks he's harmless. Can we keep him?" You begged and begged.

"No-" Dean snapped back. "Take him back-"

"Can we keep him? Please!" Sam joined in with you as he loved dogs too.

"Sam? Really- grow up..."

"He's not leaving Dean."

"Yes he is."

"No he's not!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"It's a freaking puppy! Let me keep the damn puppy! I-I get lonely here sometimes when you go on hunts. A little company wouldn't hurt...." You yelled before calming you voice.

"Fine..."

"Thank you Baby!" You wrapped your arms around Dean's neck and kissed his beautiful lips.

"Thank you Deanie!" Sam wrapped his arms around both of us and kissed the side of Dean's head.

"Get off me! Get off-" Sam and I laughed and we both pulled off.

I bent down and grabbed (y/d/n). "Welcome to the Winchester family little guy!"
