The Impala's purr brought you to the abandoned house of the Mercer house, supposedly haunted. Dean and Sam suggested scoping out the place an hour before the ghost was actually supposed to appear in order to have some kind of advantage.

You kicked your boots along the little pebbles were Dean parked and pulled your leather jacket closer in onto your body. The wind made your hair fly behind you, quite glamorously actually.

"Don't forget the salt" Sam said tossing you some from his duffel. You nodded and held the container in your hand, and in the other hand a gun with salt rounds was locked and loaded.

"Dean!" you said loudly against the wind, "We should salt the windows and doors too just in case" you said, and he nodded as he knocked the door open. Sam looked at you alarmed, - there were voices coming from inside. Dean stepped in front protectively, gun raised, when you could hear bits and pieces of conversation.

"It's one in the morning here at the abandoned Mercer household where the ghost of the tortured children are said to awaken each night at four AM" a younger voice said, and you could hear another yell "Cut!".

Oh shit! Reporters! You thought, until you looked at Sam and Dean who looked more than pissed off.

"What?" you asked and Sam answered "the Ghostfacers" through clenched teeth.

"I'm sorry - who?" you asked into the darkness of the old house. Dean turned around, "Some dumb kids who try to be hunters, of ghosts." he said, annoyance in his voice.

You could hear the alleged Ghostfacers become scared from hearing our footsteps. "Harry! Someones here!" you could hear a voice say. Dean scoffed and made his way towards them, "Get out of here!" he yelled, blunt.

The lights turned on, you saw another kid flip the switch. "It's those fuckers from- oh god" the thinner, black haired one said. Then he turned to you, "I see you found another" and winked. You rolled your eyes when the other introduced himself "I'm Ed, this is Harry" and then pointed behind him "and this is our crew".

You gave a sarcastic smile and said "You can get yourselves killed, ya know that?" and crossed your arms. Harry spoke up "Oh no beautiful, we'll protect you. Don't you worry about us" and advanced towards you. You rolled your eyes yet again and stepped to the other side of Dean who was practically on fire.

"I said get out!" he yelled again and Sam added "Either get out, or we'll kick you out", the anger in his eyes was so strong yet somewhat sexy....

"No way, we're not leaving. You can't make us" Harry said and turned to the guy holding the camera who you weren't introduced to. "Keep rolling" he said and camera-dude did so. Sam looked like he was going to punch someone, and Dean looked worse. "Guys, let's just do what we came here for alright?" you said and began going up the stairs. The boys followed behind you, heavy boots hitting the not-so-sturdy stair case.

The space was empty, just a dusty old carpet and yet another door. Opening it you saw a small table and couple of chairs, some old portraits of the family and a bookcase full of old leather bound books. "Woah" you said, the furniture was truly antique and beautiful.

Dean immediately salted the lone window then the door. Sam of course headed towards the books while you just straddled the chair, checking to make sure your gun was ready.

"You know the drill?" Dean said, still squatting on the floor.

"Yeah, shoot the ghost while you find the bones" you answered, rubbing the cold gun metal on your jacket.

Footsteps came up the stairs a couple minutes later when Dean was already seated and shuffling through his duffel, and Sam opened up a book. Both boys turned towards the door inhaling heavily. They were obviously annoyed by the boys, but you were creeped out.

"Damn, where'd you find them?" you asked, half laughing. Sam just nodded back and forth and Dean slammed the duffel on the floor.

"And over here is the little daughters play room" you heard Ed's voice say as he opened the door, letting the camera in.

"Cut!" Harry yelled once he saw the three of you. "Just, uh, check the supplies for now or something" he continued and sat on the table next to you, obviously looking at you.

"Yes? Can I help you?" you asked.

"What is a pretty girl like you doing hunting?" he asked and you got up from your chair backing away slowly.

"I will punch you" you said, now leaning against the wall. Sam watched intently, and then Ed added "Leave her alone Harry, she doesn't like you" he said nearing you. "But seriously, after this is over wanna get a coffee..or something?" he said trying to smile charmingly.

"Uh, actually" you said smiling, leading him on, "No" and then turned your head to look out the lone window. Dean chuckled and Harry gave him a death stare.

"It's alright pretty thing-" Ed was cut off by Sam picking him up by his collar with ease. You almost laughed, but held yourself back, watching what was unfolding.

"She. Said. No." he said, that anger returning in his eyes again as he dropped him. Ed and Harry shuffled away and out of the room leaving a laughing Dean and a smirking you.

"They just don't stop!" Sam said, nearing you.

"Let's just, uh, go check out the basement" you suggested, still smiling. Dean stayed behind to look at the rest of the upstairs and Sam came downstairs with you.

"Thanks, by the way" you said halfway down the steps.

"No problem, just he was being an ass" he said, looking at you. You smiled, and for the first time in a while blushed. "Thank you Sam" you said and elbowed his upper arm playfully. "I've never seen you get so worked up with, well humans" you added once you reached the door.

"Well I can't have them all over you, I really" he said, then stopped.

"What? Really what?" you asked, blocking the door so he couldn't open it. He looked downwards so his hair covered his face a bit, "Nothing, don't worry about it" he said, his eyes soft.

"Tell me or we'll stay here until the ghost comes" you said chuckling, leaning against the old door.

"I really like you" he finally said after two minutes of silence. He looked up at you, a scared puppy hiding inside him.

"Sam" you started and he raised his eyebrows, "I like you too", and before you finished saying too he pressed his lips hard against yours, moving his hands through your hair as you grabbed at his neck.

Dean clearing his throat obnoxiously made Sam pull away, but Dean just smiled saying "It's about time" and pushed past you opening the door. Sam smiled at you and you held his rough but soft hands as you entered.
