I stood in LAX, waiting to board my flight, trying to hold back a tsunami of tears as I said goodbye to my castmate, best friend and honorary sister, Sabrina Carpenter. That's right, I'm an actress, a Disney Channel actress, to be precise and I have been for the last four years or so. I was on a couple episodes of Liv and Maddie as Parker's girlfriend, Kat and I guest starred in Austin & Ally as Austin's younger cousin, Luna but what most people will recognise me for is my main role in Girl Meets World. Since the beginning of season 1, I played Jade Hunter, Shawn's adopted British daughter. I also happened to be Maya's girlfriend, which I'm so proud of because now we're known as the first main Disney Channel characters to be a part of the LGBTQ+ community. I'm glad my time on Disney was spent making it a better and more accepting place, and being bisexual myself, it makes me even happier.

"Don't forget to Skype and FaceTime, okay? I want to see your face every single day." Sabrina ordered, smiling through the tears that gleamed in her blue eyes.

"I would've thought you'd be pretty bored of my face after so long." I laughed despite my own tears.

"I could never get bored of you." She grinned and I giggled, but it kind of turned into a sob. Sabrina is my best friend in the entire world, along with Rowan Blanchard who you all probably know as Riley from GMW. Ever since our first day on set, Sabrina, Rowan and I basically became connected at the hip and Sabrina and I have never let the fact that we've had to kiss on several occasions for the show change our friendship in any way. Of course, I love the rest of the cast with all my heart and the only reason Sabrina's dropping me off at the airport and not anybody else is because they simply couldn't make it. It's okay, though, because we all already had our big emotional goodbye and let me tell you, there were so many tears I thought we were going to drown.

Soon came the moment both me and Sabrina were dreading, and that was the moment the woman over the tannoy system announced that the flight to Gatwick Airport was ready to be boarded.

"Right, come here, you." Sabrina demanded with a bright smile on her face but I could tell she was just putting on a brace face. I gave her a teary smile back as she pulled me into a hug.

"Don't you forget me when you're topping the charts, alright?" I teased after we pulled away.

"I wouldn't dream of it." She giggled, a tear rolling down her cheek.

"Bye, Bri Bri." I managed to say through a choked sob.

"Have a safe flight, Haribo." She pulled me in for another hug, using the nickname that everyone on set calls me. I don't know where it came from but all my castmates call me it. I mean, it's not a bad thing. I'd rather my nickname be a yummy sweet and not broccoli or something. I held onto Sabrina for dear life and let a couple silent sobs escape, and I could tell she was crying too.

"Come on, you don't want to miss your flight." Sabrina said after a few minutes, pulling away and wiping her eyes as I did the same. With tears streaming uncontrollably down both our faces, we said one final goodbye before I turned and ran off to catch my flight.

I was soon sat on the plane, listening to American Beauty/American Psycho by Fall Out Boy through my headphones, waiting to take off. I let my mind wander and I started thinking about the last four years of my life and how it was now all over. Although, that isn't necessarily a terrible thing. Of course, I was devastated when Girl Meets World got cancelled, as any actor/actress would be, but like they say, every cloud has it's silver lining. I mean, now Rowan, Peyton, Corey and Amir have a chance to do other projects and acting gigs, Sabrina has a chance to focus more on her music and I have a chance to go back home and have a go at life as an ordinary teenager. That being said, I won't be completely escaping the fame. See, if you don't know me from my Disney Channel roles, you may know me as Alfie Deyes' little sister. Yes, I'm talking about the Alfie Deyes. Alfie Deyes as in PointlessBlog, who happens to have over 5 million subscribers on YouTube, and who is dating Zoe Sugg aka Zoella, who has over 11 million subscribers. I don't see them as world famous YouTubers, obviously. To me, they're just my dorky, often annoying but most of the time lovable big brother and his kind, sweet, gorgeous girlfriend. Then there's my older sister, Poppy and her boyfriend, Sean whom I love just as much as Alfie and Zoe, and then of course there are my lovely, wonderful parents.
