"Good morning, Haz." Alfie smiled when I entered the living room the next morning.

"Morning," I smiled back, "Where's Zoe?"

"She's gone to a meeting, which reminds me; we're meeting Poppy and Sean at 10 to get the last few bits and bobs for her birthday tomorrow." He informed me.

"Oh, good, it'll give me a chance to get her something," I know, I know, I'm not doing so well in my role as Zoe's (kind of, almost) sister-in-law when I haven't even gotten her anything for her birthday, but I've just been so busy with moving and all.

I then glanced at the clock and saw it was almost 9:00, "I'll go and get dressed, then." I announced before leaving the living room and going upstairs. I went into my bedroom and over to my suitcase, which I had yet to unpack, and looked for something to wear. I eventually decided on a leaf print playsuit over the top of a white, long sleeve, turtle neck crop top and a pair of black tights. I put my hair in french braids and put some makeup on before slipping on my silver arrow necklace and my silver heart charm necklace. Lastly, I pulled my white high top Converse on, added my black glittery case to my phone and swung my pink Moschino quilted emblem backpack over my shoulder before going downstairs.

"What can I have for breakfast?" I asked my brother as I walked into the living room and flopped down next to him on the sofa.

"We'll, I'm gonna get something while we're out so I could by you something as well." He offered with a shrug.

"Alf, no, I can buy my own food." I insisted.

"It's no problem, honestly and besides, I want to. What sort of big brother would I be if I didn't spoil you?"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, and I'm the adult so what I say goes, now stop talking." He playfully ordered. I just laughed and shook my head, leaning back on the sofa.

At around 9:50, we decided to get going so we left the house and got in Alfie's car. We soon arrived in town and met Poppy and Sean on the high street.

"Right, where are we going first?" Poppy asked after we'd all greeted and hugged each other.

"Well, Harrie and I haven't had breakfast yet so I was thinking we could get something to eat and then hit the shops?" Alfie suggested and they all agreed with his plan. We ended up going to a restaurant called Bill's and I had some fruity granola which was amazing.

"So, what exactly do you guys need to still get for Zoe's birthday?" I wondered after we'd left Bill's.

"Just some little bits to decorate the house with, plus we ordered a load of donuts from Dumdums which we need to pick up." Alfie explained.

"Dumdums?"

"Yeah, it's this place that Zoe loves and I don't blame her, their donuts are amazing." Poppy said.
