•Harriet's P.O.V•

"Harrie, Haz, wake up." The soft voice of my sister woke me up and I opened my eyes to find that the car had stopped. I then looked out the window to see what I recognised as Zoe and Alfie's house.

"Are we here?" I asked excitedly. Poppy chuckled and nodded, causing me to squeal as I unbuckled my seatbelt and jumped out the car.

"Woah, slow down, you're going to run someone over!" Sean laughed when I almost crashed into him.

"Sorry." I giggled before I ran up to the front door. I then paused, nerves creeping into my system. I don't even know why I'm suddenly getting nervous. He's my brother, I have nothing to be nervous about. Plus, it's not like I haven't seen him in decades, he came over to America a few months ago. But this feels different... I mean, for one, this is my first time at the Zalfie house, and meeting Nala.

"Knock, then." Poppy bought me back to reality.

"Right." I laughed at my ability to fall into a daydream no matter where I am or what I'm doing. I brought my first to the door and knocked three times before waiting, my heart thumping and my stomach filled with butterflies of excitement. Minutes later, the door opened revealing my beloved big brother. The way his jaw dropped and his eyes lit up when he saw me made me so happy.

"Harriet!" He took me by surprise when he wrapped his arms around me and lifted me off my feet, spinning me round like something you'd see in a cheesy movie.

"Hey, Alf." I giggled as he finally put me down.

"What the hell are you doing here?" He asked.

"I'm moving in, remember?" I smirked.

"But I thought you weren't coming for another two weeks..."

"Yeah, I lied... You're still okay with me moving in, right?"

"Of course I am! I'm just in shock, good shock, though." He assured me, a huge grin on his face which made me grin, too.

"Alfie, who's at the- Harriet!" Zoe then appeared and gasped when she saw me, running over and engulfing me in a huge hug.

"Zoe!" I squealed, hugging her back tightly. After all the hugging and squealing we all went inside, where I finally met Nala.

"Who's this, Nala?" Zoe cooed as we walked in and Nala immediately ran up to me, jumping up and sniffing me to see who I was.

"Hello, gorgeous." I crouched down and made a big fuss of her, letting her get used to me.

"Haz, I just texted Mum and told her we've arrived so she and Dad will be here soon." Poppy told me and I grinned as I stood up, excited to see my parents.

"Hang on, Mum and Dad knew about this, too?" Alfie piped up.

"Pretty much everyone except you and Zoe knew." I laughed.

"You little sneak." He lightly tickled my sides and I let out a giggle.

"Shall we go and get your bags from the car, then?" Sean suggested since I had yet to bring them in. I nodded and so the five of us went back outside and my siblings, Sean and Zoe helped me take all my luggage inside and upstairs.

"We hope you like your room, if you don't, you can always redecorate it to your liking." Zoe told me as she opened the door, letting us all carry my bags in.

"It's fine, l love it." I grinned, glancing around the room.

And that's when the doorbell rang.

"That'll be Mum and Dad." Poppy said and I squealed for probably the thousandth time today before running down the stairs and over to the front door, making sure Nala didn't follow me and escape. I threw the door open revealing my parents.

"Mummy! Daddy!" I threw myself on Mum, who chuckled and hugged me back before I did the same to Dad and getting the same reaction.

"Hey, cheeky." Mum said with teary eyes and a quavering voice.

"Mum, don't cry, you'll set me off." I warned, smiling despite the lump I could already feel in my throat.

"I'm sorry, I just can't believe you're finally home. I can see you whenever I want now and not wait until we can go to America next." She cupped my face and kissed my forehead making me giggle. Mum and Dad followed me inside and they said hello and hugged everyone else before we all went into the living room.

"Who wants pizza?" Zoe spoke up.

"I do! Me! Me!" I waved my hand in the air like a kid in class desperate to ask to go to the toilet.

"You haven't gotten any less weird since we last saw you, I see." Alfie laughed and I playfully glared at him.

"Okay, what does everyone want from Domino's?" Zoe asked as she got her phone out and everyone told her what they wanted, I decided get a chicken feast pizza and a coke.

The pizza soon arrived and we all watched Coronation Street on TV while we ate, although I didn't pay too much attention because I was texting Sabrina.

Before long, Mum, Dad, Poppy and Sean sadly had to leave so once again, a lot of hugs were exchanged before they all left and it was just me, Zoe, Alfie and Nala, how it would be most of the time from now on. At around 9 or 10 pm, I decided to head to bed since I'd had a pretty exhausting day with the flight and everything.

"Hey, I'm going to bed now." I told Alfie as I passed him in the kitchen. I'd already said goodnight to Zoe who was in the cosy room.

"Alright, I don't blame you, to be honest. You've had a long day," He said, "But come here before you go." I grinned as he walked over to me, his arms wide open. I wrapped my arms around my brother's waist as he wrapped his arms tightly around my smaller frame, making me feel warm and safe.

"I'm glad you're home, munchkin. I spent too much time missing you over the last four years." He told me, resting his chin on the top of my head.

"Alfie, stop, you're gonna make me cry." I mumbled making both of us laugh, "I've missed you too. A lot. And I'm glad I'm home, too."

"Sleep tight, okay? I love you." He kissed the top of my head.

"I love you too, Alfie."
