It was a normal morning at the Kim house. The two sons, Seokjin and Taehyung were having their breakfast as they did every morning.Today though was a special day. Eleven years ago these two kids were brought to this world. Even though they were twins, they didn't present any more similarities as two other siblings would. And it was oddly ok with them both. That was one of the reasons they were so close. Protecting each other and having each other's back in every situation.
As they were going through the conversation they had each morning, everything seemed to be normal. However, none of them knew that this would be their last breakfast as a non-extraordinary family.
"So what you two think of doing on this special day," asked their mom with a smile.
"We weren't thinking of anything special" answered Seokjin.
"Yeah. We were just thinking of going out for some ice cream" added Tae.
"Why? It's an important day. You should something more... special" their father rationalized.
Before they could answer his questions though something unexpected appeared in the family's window. Two owls entered the room through the open window carrying each a letter in between its claws. They dropped one in front of Tae and the other in front to Jin and then went and sat on the counter. With socked expressions, the kids slowly opened the letters while their parents watched with equally shocked expressions.
"We are wizards?! THE HELL?! How is this possible?!" exclaimed Tae loudly after reading his letter.
"Is this some type of joke?" Jin said joining in.
"That's what our friend warned us about?" said dad in a sarcastic voice.
"Probably. This doesn't have any other logical explanation. It must be actually true," answered their mom.
"What friend are you talking about?" asked both kids.
"A stranger came by yesterday when you were both out and informed us about all this so we would be prepared when you actually got the letter. He even showed us some... magic. We didn't believe him though. We thought it was some sort of trick. Clearly, we were wrong..." explained their mother.
"So what's going to happen?" asked their father.
"We let them go. Something tells me we don't have a choice either," she answered.
At that, the two kids looked at each other excitedly. The same thing on their minds:
WE ARE GOING TO BECOME WIZARDS
