"So the only thing left for us to buy is wands and the school uniform," said enthusiastically Tae.It had been a week since they received the letter from "their new school" as they called it in front of other people. Now they were at Diagon Alley trying to find all the essentials needed for the new school year.
"So where should we go first?" asked Tae.
"I think we should go to the wand store and leave the cloaks for last" suggested Jin, earning a nod of approval from his brother.
"Too bad mom and dad couldn't come. They would find this place amazing" said Tae with his eyes to the store selling brooms.
"Remember we are not allowed to have one yet" warned Jin.
"Yeah yeah. Kinda ridiculous though don't you agree?"
"With people like you around I find it extremely reasonable," said Jin giggling.
"Ha ha ha," said Tae sarcastically.
"We are here."As they pushed the door a faint jingle was heard. It was a shady place with shelves full of boxes, a table in the middle of the room and a lonely chair on the corner next to the door. Suddenly an old man with really big eyes was standing in front of them.
"Hello, kids. I am Olivander. I am guessing it's your first year at Hogwarts. Am I correct?"
"Yeah. We are looking for wands" answered Jin since Tae was too shocked to talk.
"Okay then. Let's start with you" he said pointing to Tae. He grabbed a tape measure and started taking measures.
"I know exactly the wand for you," he said reaching one of the shelves and taking a wand out of his box and giving it to Tae. Upon touching it he felt a warmth spreading on his arm. As he moved his arm up and down, a series of small blue sparkles escaped the wand.
"Yes, that's the one. It's a 13" Cherry wand with unicorn hair" said Olivander happily "Now your turn" he added looking towards Jin.
After measuring him and bringing me two wands, none of which worked he brought him another one."It's a 10 1/4" Cedar with dragon heartstring. Fairly flexible."
As Jin took it in his hand he immediately felt a weird warmth and as he moved appeared red sparkles from its tip.
"Perfect" exclaimed Olivander happily.
They thanked him, paid and then moved to get their cloaks and go home.
