*so I don't really have an excuse for how late I am except that I hit a huge writer's block. I may have kinda lost my interest in this ff. Stay tuned for the next, and probably last, chapter to wrap it up.*
also, I doubt anyone would want this but would you like me to do a Q & A when the ff ends to answer any leftover questions? if you want me to, please comment below :)
It was the beginning of a new year at Hogwarts. The wind could be heard howling outside and rain hitting the windows creating a calming atmosphere. Currently, all students were situated at the dining hall waiting for the new students to be sorted into their respective houses. Jimin's cousin, Chaeyoung was part of the ceremony this year. When her turn came, she stepped forward, sat on the stool and put the sorting hat on top of her head. A second passed before the hat announced loud and clear: "Hufflepuff!" The Hufflepuff table cheered as she approached their table and took her seat next to Jimin, who was smiling widely. The ceremony went on with the newcomer kids being settled to their houses.
"Kim Jennie! Slytherin!"
"Lalisa Manoban! Gryffindor!"
"Kim Jisoo! Ravenclaw!"
"Yoo Jeongyeon! Ravenclaw!"
"Taehyung!" A loud voice was heard, and a boy jumped on the back of the unsuspecting boy.
"Hobi!" The younger responded and after making sure Hoseok was securely on him, he started running while laughing. Jungkook, who was behind Hoseok, just smiled at his friends' silliness. He walked towards his friends, already at the table, eating together and sat beside Jimin who was busy laughing at something Yoongi was saying. He couldn't really pay attention to him as across from him were sitting two people that had hold of his interest and they were currently debating the logistics of turning water into rum.
"I mean think about it! Wouldn't you want to have a spell in your back that can turn water from your tap, that's free by the way, to an expensive type of rum? Again, for free."
"Jin, no. You are not using that spell and that's final. There is no way you are getting access to alcohol any time soon! Wh- Are you laughing?!"
Jungkook just watched with a fond smile on his face as Seokjin fell on the floor, holding his stomach while laughing hysterically.
"I am so done with this teacher, I could curse," mumbled Yoongi flipping through his notes.
"Yoongi! Jungkook's ears are sensitive to this!" Jimin said covering Jungkook's ears to which the latter laughed. Namjoon just looked at them with a sour expression on his face.
"What happened anyway?" Jimin asked.
"He is just number one on my list with people that didn't deserve to be born," Yoongi replied with a scoff.
Jimin simply nodded and went back to his dinner.
"Hey guys," Jackson's voice was heard from behind them. "I will borrow Namjoon for a few minutes. We met a new guy and since he seems to be permanent, I would like Joonie to meet him."
"Okay but who?" Namjoon responded following
"His name is Yugyeom. He bumped into Mark one day and here we are," Jackson laughed while walking away with Namjoon on his side. They didn't realize a pair of eyes seemingly glued to their backs as they left.
"Welcome to the match you all been waiting for! Ravenclaw versus Slytherin! Both teams have been strong this year and the result is far from certain," Jinyoung voice was heard in the stadium. Loud cheers were emitting from the bleachers with the two competing houses trying to dominate over the other. "Let the game begin!"
The Ravenclaw common room was filled with laughter from the students rushing in after the game. Namjoon was laughing his heart out next to Yoongi and Jungkook who were sulking.
"You are never letting this go, are you?" Yoongi raised his eyebrow.
"Nope," Namjoon confessed.
"Joon?" Jungkook asked from the bed while watching the other guy hanging his clothes in the closet.
"Yeah? What's up Kook?"
"What's the difference between a kiss and a peck?"
Namjoon's eyes widened and his cheeks reddened. "I am sorry?"
"Just the boys were talking about it at breakfast and I was just curious," he answered looking at his feet embarrassed.
"Oh," a smirk appeared on his lips as he came closer to the bed. "You don't know?" Kookie nodded his head, his eyes still cast down. "Would you like me to show you?"
Jungkook finally raised his head, and with his cheeks dusted red, nodded again.
Namjoon went even closer and connected his lips with Jungkook's. He pecked his lips for a short second and stepped back. "This is a peck," he whispered. He stepped away with a grin, admiring Jungkook's adorableness as he seemed to question the events that took place. After a few seconds, he turned to Namjoon with a mischievous glint in his eyes, "I don't get it. Would you mind showing me again?" And how could Namjoon deny the offer? He stepped closer again and reconnected their lips, his left hand on Kookie's waist and his right on his shoulder. The latter's arm wrapped around his neck. Their lips moving in sync, slowly against each other.
It was finally summer time. The sun was reflecting on the surface of the lake. The heat was slowly creeping up. Unfortunately, the students could not enjoy time in the sun, as all of them were busy studying for the end of the year exams. Students were seen day and night studying in the library and in the common rooms.
"Jimin, you have to help me! I have no idea what I'm doing," Taemin's voice was heard.
"Am I the only who regrets the idea of all of us studying together?" responded Jimin.
"Nope," everybody answered at the same time with a laugh.
"Yeah, I figured,'' smirked Jimin looking down at his book again.
"But we are meeting during the summer right?" questioned Seokjin.
"Of course. I don't have anything to do during the summer anyway. I need a purpose for my life," Namjoon chimed in.
"Mood," Yoongi commented from the floor.
