"Did you say you loved me?"

He looked at me smiling from ear to ear.

"Yes... I'm sorry."

I shoved my hands in my face and shook my head.

"Don't be."

His hand combed my hair and touched my hand... Then left.

"So... We still need to get those clothes."

I jumped up looking into his eyes.

He laughed and took my hand and led me toward the door. That one girl was down the hall sleeping on the floor. Mark looked over and had a confused look on his face. I tugged at his hand trying to force him to get to the elevator. But he wouldn't budge for a second.

"Mark I don't give a crap about drunk girls..."

"I know you don't but she looks familiar."

"She sorta invaded your apartment this morning."

He hit me in the shoulder and smirked.

"What? It's true!"

"Let's just go..."

"Now you want to go."

I laughed and ran down to the elevator. He caught up and took my hand.

"Calm down little girl!"

"Ok I'm just excited I get actual NEW and CLEAN clothes!"

"You will get some just calm down."

He pushed the button on the elevator and it opened to Isom...

"Sup man! And little hooker?"

"ISOM! She freakin isn't a hooker!"

"Alright. Well nice to meet whoever you are."

"I'm Autumn. I'm just thirteen..."

"Oh that makes sense."

I bobbed my head up and down showing him that it was obvious. Mark smirked and looked at him.

"What up?"

"Just wanted to hang out. But I see your busy."

His finger pointed towards me.

"Oh yea. Maybe some other time."

"Well that depends on what your doing."

"Were buying clo-"

"Nope, see you guys later!"

"Alright..."

We walked into the elevator next to Isom, he had an alcohol smell a little bit. But I ignored it and looked up at them. Isom looked down at me confused and shook his head continuing to talk to Mark. When the elevator opened I jumped out and took a big gasp of air.

"Uh, you ok?" Asked Mark.

"Yea, it just smells gross in... Elevators." I smiled showing my teeth a little bit.

"Sure whatever."

Mark and Isom gave each other a pat on the back and split. He came over toward me and opened the door for me again.

"Why do you like me so much?"

I smiled facing up to him, and squinting because the sun was behind him.

"Because you are different."

He smiled back to me.

"Different is good right?"
