"MOM STOP!! PLEASE!!" I begged as her fist connected to my stomach. "Get out of my house you worthless piece of shit!" She yelled. I got up, packed my bag, and ran out of the house. Why does she hate me so much?

Well that's just great. I'm officilly homeless. I decided to call my best friend, Lily. "Hello?" She asked. "Hey, mom kicked me out again. Could I stay with you for a while?" I asked. "Of course" she replied.

"I'll come pick you up." She hung up. I waited for about ten minutes before she showed up. "Thanks for this Lily" I smiled. She smiled back and said "No problem. Once we got to her house, she grabbed my bag and took it to her room.

As we were laying on her bed, suddenly she got an idea. "Wanna go to Hot Topic?" She asked. I smiled and said "Hell yeah." We got up and raced to our bikes, riding them to the mall. Once we got there we chained up our bikes and went inside.

As we walked into the mall, I felt as though I was being watched. I turned around, seeing nothing out of the ordinary, so I continued walking with Lily. I grabbed two escape the fate shirts, a falling in reverse shirt, and I am ghost shirt, and three pierce the veil bracelets.

"Your total is $32.46" the guy said. I handed him two twenties and collected my change. I stood outside of Hot Topic waiting for Lily. I began to feel uneasy as I felt like I was being watched again.

Suddenly Lily came out. "Ready to go out for dinner?" She asked. I jumped slightly and said "Yeah" "I didn't mean to scare you. Are you okay?" "I'm fine. I just have this weird feeling that I'm being watched." I replied.

Lily looked around. "I don't see anyone watching us." I nodded and said "Let's go." We went to Bahama Breeze for dinner. I ordered the lobster and shrimp quesadilla and Lily ordered the key west nachos.

After we ate we went back to her house. We climbed into her bed and fell asleep. I woke up around 12:50am and couldn't go back to sleep. Suddenly I heard a loud crash! What was that?

I thought. I got up and left Lily's room. I slowly and quietly made my way down stairs. I saw four shadows so I quietly ran back upstairs as quietly as I could. I knew Lily wouldn't wake up until the morning so I hoped whoever broke into her house would leave soon.

Please don't come upstairs. I prayed quietly. After not hearing any strange noises for ten minutes, I decided to go back down stairs. I quietly crept down stairs, only to hear what sounded like someone whispering "Where's the girl at?"

Getting scared I hid in the bathroom. I shut and locked the door, praying that whoever was here would leave soon. Suddenly I heard another person whisper "someone's in the bathroom." The door began to jiggle.
