monty ate his lunch in silence. his friends were ignoring him.
"you guys are stupid, you know that?" monty asked.

"we told you not to ask her out." justin shrugged.
"you had sheri holland wrapped around your finger and you let her go for elizabeth?" bryce scoffed.

"yes, i did. now elle is my girlfriend, and i like her." monty said.
"she must have you under some kind of sex spell if you're giving up all of your other girls." zach said.

"she doesn't have me under a sex spell. don't be an idiot, zach." monty rolled his eyes.
"well i mean, what else would it be? we told you not to ask her out and now she's your girlfriend." bryce stated.

"first of all, you're not my fucking parents so don't tell me what i can and can't do. second, i actually like her, that's why she's my girlfriend." monty responded.

bryce was taken back at monty's sudden courage.
"who are you talking to?" bryce questioned.

"i'm talking to you. you're a dick, bryce. fuck you." monty scoffed. justin and zach stayed quiet. they knew that bryce and monty fought all of the time and it was best if they stayed out of it.

"if you don't like what i say, leave the table." bryce said, and monty got up.
"fine, i will." monty responded and left their table.

he threw away the left over food and walked over to elle's table. he leaned down and she looked at him.

"hey monty!" she smiled.
"can you walk with me?" monty asked, holding out his hand. she looked at her friends and they said bye to her. she accepted monty's hand and they walked out of the cafeteria.

monty pulled her to one of the more secluded areas outside that no one knew about.
"what's wrong?" she asked. monty pressed his lips against her's and her back brushed up against the wall.

her eyes widened as she kissed montgomery back, wrapping her arms around his neck. their first kiss was a very rough, passionate one.

he pulled away and looked at her stunned face.
"my friends are assholes." he answered her initial question. elle pressed her fingers to her lips. monty looked at her in confusion.

"elle?" he asked.
"what?" she responded, still looking surprised. monty knew exactly why she was acting that way.

"that was your first kiss, wasn't it?" he asked.
"no, of course not!" she shook her head, but he knew that she was lying.

"alright, forget that one happened. i can do better." monty said as his anger from his friends subsided. he placed his hands on her cheeks and leaned in, brushing his lips against her's.

elizabeth leaned into the kiss, but she didn't know which she liked more. monty's angered kiss or his gentle kiss.

she pulled away with the biggest smile on her face.
"i think i like the angry kiss more." she stated, looking up at her boyfriend.

monty laughed, surprised by her preference. he pressed a brief kiss to her lips one last time.
"but i was saying that my friends are assholes." he repeated.

"what'd they do?" she asked.
"they don't think that we should be together, but i don't care." monty shook his head.

she smiled up at him.
"good." she said.
