Sarah's POV.

Mom stood infront of me with her arms crossed against her chest. Oh god! How am I going to explain about everything?

"Come on, spit it out" she said and I huffed in frustration.

"Mom. I'll tell you everything tomorrow morning" I said but she shook her head.

"I wanna hear everything right now. I've got all night" she said as she grinned.

"Now tell me who was that boy?!" She said as a squeal escaped her lips.

"He was a............ Friend"

"No no young lady I know he wasn't any friend. Tell me or I'll know it all by myself." She said. I raised an eyebrow.

"Really? And how are gonna know that?"

"He'll come back. You're eventually gonna meet him and then at that time I'll know" she said. I stared at her open mouthed.

"Okay alright. He was more than a friend." I said. What is Alex to me? Cause after what happened today I don't think he's a friend anymore.

"Come on sit. Tell me all about him" mom said as she pulled me and made me sit on the couch. She sat next to me as I faced her.

"What's his name?" She asked.

"Alex. Alex carter"

Her eyes widened. "Alex? As in Alexander carter?" She asked curiously. I nodded. She gasped.

"Okay. How did you both meet?" She asked getting more interested.

How am I going to explain this that Alex is my stalker and he saved me from a bunch of bad people? Or the fact that he's stalking me since I was 12?

"Uh we met across the street" I blurted out without thinking.

Mom frowned. "What was the CEO of Carter & co doing across the street? And especially in our block streets?" She asked confused.

"He was there because he was meeting someone. Some client and then he saved me from almost getting kidnapped" I said.

"He is so sweet!" mom exclaimed.

"Yeah and then he dropped me home and then we uh became friends and then we spent time together and today I went to his house, I met his family and he gave me this ring" I said as I showed the ring on my finger to mom. She gasped.

"he is such a sweetheart. Honey but...Why did he give this to you?" Mom asked.

"An appreciation gift. He wanted to show the gratitude of being my friend and then uh..We kinda...Kissed" I said and my mom giggled.

"Awwwww reminds me of the time when I was your age. He was the same. Giving gifts, presents." Mom said as a tear slipped down from her eyes.

"Mom. Don't cry. He didn't deserve you. You're the greatest mom in the whole world" I said as I huffed her.

"I'm sorry honey. I couldn't give you the love of a father" she sobbed. I rubbed her back gently.

"Anyways. Then what happened?" She asked as she pulled out and wiped her tears away.

"He dropped me home. That's it" I said and sighed.

"Mom I'm scared. I mean I think I like him but I'm still scared about it. This is my first time and I'm so nervous" it was true. I knew I have feelings for Alex but I'm scared to give him a chance.

"Honey, don't be scared to take your first step. First times are always hard. But you've got to have complete trust in him, believe in yourself and be yourself. Don't change yourself for someone else cause it's not going to make you happy. Do what you think is right. Trust in yourself" mom said as she kissed my forehead. I nodded
