Chapter 14 - Open

Cameron's POV

After I ended the call, I sighed in relief. I was so worried Allison would say no and I would be humiliated.

Honestly, I have no idea what I'm going to plan for our date, but I know I have to make it special for her. I have to prove to her that she's not just a toy to me, she's something much more.

I just don't know how...

Lilly's POV

Allison's phone interrupts our conversation and she presses it to her ear. "Hello?" she asks, but I already know who it is. I wish I had never given Cameron her number.

They talked for forever until finally the call ended and I put on a fake smile for her. "OH MY GOD DID CAMERON DALLAS JUST ASK YOU OUT?!?!"

We chatted a little more before she left to get ready for her date.

Cameron was supposed to fall for me. Not Allison.

Allison's POV

I arrive at my house and think about what I should wear. Cam didn't tell me where we're going so I have no idea how to dress.

To Cameron: Excited for tonight! How should I dress?

He texts back a few seconds later.

To Allison: It doesn't matter. You look beautiful in anything :)

I roll my eyes at his attempt at flirting.

To Cameron: Seriously?

To Allison: Yes. Just dress casually I guess

To Cameron: Ok. Cya soon!

I showered at Lilly's earlier so all I need to do is get dressed and do my hair.

I walk over to my closet and look at the clothes hanging there. I grab two dresses to try on and lay them on my bed. After trying on both of the dresses, I choose the first one. It's a navy blue skater dress with a daisy print on it and an open back.

Putting on makeup is annoying so I only put a bit of mascara on and leave it at that. Its 3:30 so I have enough time to curl my hair. It falls in golden waves as I finish and I smile at my reflection.

I slip on my precious Vans and twirl in front of the body length mirror on the back of my door. Cameron will be here in less then five minutes so I rush to gather all of my belongings. I pull on a light jacket and grab a small cross-body purse, stuffing a tube of lipgloss, some money, and my phone in it.

Just as I finish, I hear the doorbell and rush downstairs. Before opening the door, I catch my breath and compose myself.

Cameron's POV

Allison opens the door and smiles one of her amazing smiles. "Hey," I say with one hand in my pocket. "Um, you ready to go?"

"Yep. Where are we going?" She asked.

"It's a surprise," I wiggle my eyebrows at her and she laughs, stepping through the doorway. I lead her to my car and open the door for her.

"Thank you, kind Sir," she jokes.

We drive for about five minutes before she asks me (again) to tell her where we're going.

"You'll see when we get there."

A little while later I turn off the car jump out. I lift her out of her seat and shut the door. I put her on my back and tell her to close her eyes.

I walk with her for a few minutes before placing her on the ground.

"Open."
