(Hey I finished it here ya go)
Gladion handed a piece of Pokémon food to the newly hatched Igglybuff that sat in his lap. The baby Pokémon happily nibbled on the food, asking for more once it finished the piece.
Gladion smiled lightly and handed the Pokémon another piece of food. Igglybuff's mother, Jigglypuff, giggled as she watched her baby enjoy the Pokémon food.
"I'm glad you like the food, Igglybuff" Gladion said, "Normally baby Pokémon are picky about the food at the foundation"
Igglybuff finished its second piece of food and chirped in happiness. Gladion picked up the tiny Pokémon and placed it on the ground in front of him, facing his direction.
"Wanna try singing again?" He asked.
Igglybuff's face dropped, looking unsure. It's mother hugged it, assuring it that it would be okay. Igglybuff puffed out its body in new confidence.
"Okay. Go ahead then"
The confidence faded as the baby Pokémon became nervous again. The last time it'd tried singing hadn't turned out too well, as the Aether Foundation now had one less glass jar of Pokémon food. Igglybuff pointed at Gladion, as if to suggest he should sing.
Gladion put his hands up in front of him, "Oh I can't sing"
Igglybuff and Jigglypuff both made Baby-Doll Eyes at Gladion.
Gladion groaned, "Fine. But you have to sing with me"
Igglybuff happily agreed and waited for Gladion to begin singing. A list of songs flowed through Gladion's mind, but none of them were necessarily appropriate.
His mind flashed to a memory of Moon humming a song she'd liked. It had been stuck in her head all day, and eventually she made Gladion listen to it with her on repeat. If only he could remember the words...the chorus maybe.
Gladion took a breath and began singing what little he remembered of the song.
"It's time to begin, isn't it? I get a little bit bigger but then I'll admit- I'm just the same as I was. Now don't you understand? That I'm never changing who I am" Gladion sang.
Igglybuff smiled up at Gladion as he sang the chorus, attempting to memorize the flow of the song. Igglybuff and Jigglypuff were easily able to memorize harmonies and melodies of songs.
"Sing with me" Gladion ushered.
Gladion recited the chorus again, this time with Igglybuff's help. They recited it a third time, and Jigglypuff joined in as well.
"See? Look at that! I knew you could do it!" Gladion praised, patting the baby Pokémon on the head.
"Buff!" Igglybuff chirped. Gladion lightly pushed the Pokémon away from him.
"Why don't you show all the other Pokémon how good you've gotten?"
Igglybuff smiled and darted in the direction of the Cleffa and Clefairy to show off its singing. It's mother followed to make sure it wouldn't get into any trouble.
"That was the cutest thing I've ever seen in my entire life" a voice squealed.
Gladion whipped his head around to see Moon standing behind him, smiling and giggling.
He practically fell over, "Moon?!" Gladion felt his face heat up as he stood up.
"That's my name!" Moon chirped.
In an attempt to take the subject off of him, Gladion asked, "W-What are you doing here?"
Moon's posture became nervous, "D-Don't worry about that!" She exclaimed. Her posture became normal again as she said, "I didn't know you could sing"
Gladion crossed his arms, "I can't!" He denied, "Er...did you see that whole thing?"
"Suuure you can't" Moon said, disbelief clear in her voice, "And yes, most of it"
Gladion blushed and facepalmed, "Of course you did..." he grumbled.
"Aw it's okay Gladion!" Moon assured, "You've got a nice voice"
Gladion looked at Moon through his hand, "You think?"
"Yeah! You should sing more often!" She chirped.
"Well uh...thanks I guess..." he muttered.
Oh Arceus she heard you sing and she liked it, this could not get any more embarrassing, Gladion thought.
"You're welcome! Also, you were really cute singing with that Igglybuff" Moon said, blushing slightly.
I was wrong
Gladion blushed harder, "Psh...W...Whatever"
Moon made a face like she suddenly had an idea, "Hey! Hau and I are going to Karaoke night at a restaurant on Friday! You should come!"
"That I will not do" Gladion said blankly.
"Pleeeaaasseeee?" Moon begged.
"No"
"At least come with us!"
"No"
"Please?" She begged, making Baby-Doll Eyes at Gladion.
"Fine" he huffed.
You just can't say no to her can you? He thought to himself.
Well I CAN, she just doesn't take 'no' for an answer
"Yay!" Moon chirped. Her expression suddenly became serious, "Hey...do you know where Wicke is?" she asked.
Gladion shrugged, "In the labs?"
"Thanks!" Moon said quickly, walking away. As she walked away, she turned and waved at Gladion, "See ya Friday!" she yelled.
"See you Friday..." he muttered, confused.
(Wow look at that I tried soo hard
I kinda wanna write about the Karaoke night now XD
I'll probably do it
