It had been a few 'days' since Rick had frozen time. He'd swiftly gotten over his space hangover and seemingly had forgotten all about you crying. He just carried on as usual.

You watched Morty from the front window, vacuuming the dust and grime off of frozen Beth and Jerry. He had been really happy for a while now, even getting along with Summer. His face grew sour as Summer walked through the front door and started having a go at him for 'vacuuming their parents wrong'.

You felt a light tap on your shoulder and spun around to see Rick peering into your face. "(Y-Y/N), *burrrrp* I'm gonna unfreeze time soon. When I do, I want you to be extra careful not to touch anyone for a while. Y-you got that, (Y/N)?" You pursed your lips and gave him an understanding look.

You followed him to the front door and watched in silence.

"Who cares about the *urp* thing you two are talking about *urp* the whole point of freezing time was to stop giving a fuck." He gestured towards Morty, "Put a shirt on your dumb Dad and let's get this dumb universe rolling!" He said, making a rocker sign with his hand and walking to your side.

"Alright listen you two, we froze time for a pretty long time."

You nodded. 'Around 6 months.' You thought to yourself.

Rick continued. "So when I unfreeze it, the world's time is gonna be fine but our time's gonna need a little time to, y'know..."

"Stabilise." You finished his sentence for him. Morty and Summer stared at you blankly for a few seconds before realising what you had just said.

"Our time is gonna be unstable? What does that even mean?" Morty questioned.

Rick walked over to Morty and shoved him a bit. "It means relax and stop being a pussy, Morty." He turned to Summer and moved her a little to the right. "I-I-I thought you learned that by now. It also means don't touch your parents or we could shatter into countless theoretical shards."

You backed away from the door and stood behind Rick as he pressed a button on the device that had frozen time in the first place. "And awaaaaay we go!"

As soon as he had pressed the button the universe started to awaken. Beth and Jerry stormed into the house with rage filling their eyes.

"A THING OR TWO ABOUT-" Jerry screamed. "Wait, what?" He asked, realising that the house was no longer in any state of disrepair. "Was the house..? When we pulled up, I could've sworn the house was completely trashed." He rubbed the back of his neck in confusion while Beth inspected the room.

"Negative visualisation, Jerry." Rick started. "Explains a lot about where you're at." You giggled at this remark, holding your hand over your mouth seemed to do nothing to keep your laughter in. "Hi sweetie." Rick said, waving at Beth with a cheerful grin on his face.

"Hi, Dad." She said, walking closer to Rick with her arms held out for a hug. Summer and Morty cringed slightly, backing away. "Summer, Morty are you okay?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at Rick's still smiling face.

"W-we just missed you a lot." Morty piped up.

"Yeah, we missed you so much..." Summer said.

"Too much to hug you, though." You added, a slight hint of panic in your voice.

Rick held his arms out in front of the kids and shuffled them backwards slightly. "Yeah it would literally destroy them."

Okay so I'm really sorry but I can't write properly when I'm this stressed. My college has just now told me that I have more work to do within two days and I have to go in tomorrow to get it done and handed in. They've been repeatedly loosing people's work and marking it wrong.

I'll honestly try my best to get a good paragraph or two out by Friday, but I doubt I'll have time to write on Friday or at the weekend because my bf is needy and stuff.

Thank you for your understanding, bye darlings~♥
