"i'm sorry, have you been waiting long?"
after a few minutes of silence, both of them sat down and made themselves comfortable.
"quite a while, but it's okay, i had a good nap." she jokingly said.
he laughed. no words could describe how happy he was to see her again.
"so what is it that you wanted say to me?"
she played with her fingers nervously and answered, "my dad has found out about the letters you had been constantly sending to me... and is planning to move to another place again so that you won't be able to contact us. h-he said that if i reveal anything..." she stopped halfway and tears started rolling down her cheeks.
taehyung wished that she would not continue her sentence, but he needed to know.
"he'll... stop paying for my university course fees. and you know that i don't have enough income right now..." she looked down at the wooden floor.
"i'm sorry, taehyung. this is the end for us." she finished.
taehyung took out a packet of tissue and gave one to her. he must not cry. he needed to be strong in front of her, for she would not feel burdened.
"i... i see."
he placed his arm around her, and pulled her closely beside him by the waist.
the next few minutes were silent, except for her occasional sniffles and coughs.
the railway station officer then came to us and said, "sorry to interrupt kids, but train station's 'bout to close. you both will have to make your way out. stay safe out there in the snow!"
they thanked him and headed out the station.
"come on, follow me. i'll bring you to a place."
