"Wanna tell me where we're going?" Y/N asked as she fumbled with her fingers in her lap, unable to see anything.
"Nope" Dinah said popping the p as she stoped the car in front of the red light.
"Dinah"
"Yes Y/N" Dinah pressed on the gas once the light turned green.
"It's barely the second day of you being here, if you're gonna murder me make it the last"
Y/N said making Dinah instantly giggle at her words.
"Baby you need to calm down. Have trust in me" she said as the car finally came to a complete stop.
"Okay, I'll just have complete trust in a stranger I'm just meeting" Y/N mumbled under her breath as she stumbled out of the car, Dinah immediately catching her from falling.
Dinah lead her away from the car and towards the beach.
"Let me carry you" Dinah whispered to her as she picked her up so she wouldn't suspect that it was sand.
The sun was barely setting, Dinah had set out a blanket with a basket of Y/N's favorite foods. Dinah considered this a date but she wouldn't know what Y/N thought of it.
Dinah set her onto the blanket that was right by the shore of the beach. The waves crashing onto the sand was all that could be heard.
"How?" Y/N said as she took off the blind fold.
Dinah raises her eyebrows confused by her statement.
"How did you know" Y/N said being somewhat more detailed as she continued to stare at the sky.
"Your mom told me" Dinah whispered as she sat down next to Y/N, pulling her into her lap.
"This was my safe haven from everything... when my dad died, my first dog died, and when I got cheated on." Y/N slightly smiled to herself as a single tear dropped, rolling down her cheek.
Dinah wiped it away with the pads of her thumb. "I didn't mean to make you cry" Dinah mumbled as she intertwined their fingers together.
"No No, I'm glad you brought me here Dinah, I appreciate it" Y/N said glancing towards her, smiling.
The two of them ate the food Dinah had prepared the night before while Y/B was sleeping and they continued to talk and laugh.
They laid there, underneath the stars. Dinah couldn't help but smile the whole time. She was with someone she truly cared about.
"Y/N?"
"Yes Dinah?"
"Can I be your safe haven"
