"Y/N can you get the damn door, someone has been knocking for the last 5 minutes"
Maybe this wasn't a good idea
"Yeah yeah, I'll get it" I walked towards the door to see a smiling Dinah.
"Are you ready to go babe?" She asked smiling.
God I missed her smile..
"Earth to Y/N" Dinah waved her hand in front of me causing me to shake my head.
"Yeah lets go." I grabbed Dinah's hoodie that I had secretly stolen back when we were first dating and headed out the door with her.
"Uh Dinah?"
"Yesss"
"Where's the car"
"Didn't bring one" Dinah intertwined their fingers as they began to walk on the sidewalk.
"We have to walk" I groaned.
"It's only for 20 minutes babe"
"Okay I guess"
This feels like the longest walk I have ever taken in my life. I just want to cuddle Dinah not freakjng exercise with her.
"What?"
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You just want to cuddle with me?" Dinah asked, smiling brightly at me causing my cheeks to heat up.
"I said that out loud?" I asked embarrassed.
"Yes you did babe, but not to worry, in 10 minutes we will be cuddling"
*10 minutes later cause I'm tired and lazy*
"Jesus Christ I thought we'd never make it" I groaned as I looked at the park.
"I love this park" Dinah sighed as she pulled
me onto the nice green grass, giving them somewhere to lay down.
"The stars look the brightest I've ever seen them" I smiled as she continued to stare up at the sky.
"I always see stars when I look in your eyes
Y/N" I glanced at her taking her hand, keeping it in my lap.
"This is really beautiful" Dinah pulled me closer to her, leaning her head in the crook of my neck.
"Y/N, will you go out with me.. again?" She asked causing me to tense up.
"You don't have to, ugh I'm so stupid I knew I was moving to fast I just-"
"Kiss me"
"What?"
"Just kiss me"
Dinah put her hand softly on my cheek, slowly pulling me in for a kiss, seconds later pulling away.
"I'll go out with you Dinah"
"Really?"
"Yes babe"
"I've missed that"
"What?"
"You calling me babe and baby" Dinah pulled me into her arms, as we continued to lay on the grass.
Dinah played one of our songs quietly from her phone. It wasn't one that was played on the radio nor was it even that known, but it just fit.
"There she is by Tae Brooks will always be our favorite song okay babe?" Dinah glanced at me pulling me up from my position, I just nodded in response.
"Take off your socks and shoes"
"But it's cold"
"Babeee"
"Okay okay" I took off my soxs and shoes as my bare feet touched the cold crisp grass.
Dinah did the same before pulling me into her body.
Her hands were on my waist, mine were around her neck.
"I'm sorry I can't to this date looking a mess" I mumbled hoping she wouldn't really here.
"Babe, you look perfect" I smiled to her as we continued to dance to our favorite song.
"I love you"
"I love you too"
