I had ended up finishing my packing early so I headed over to see Damon during his sound check. Needless to say it was a little awkward with me being there since I didn't really know anyone there and Damon was up on stage. I was sat to the side of the stage with some other people that looked a little skeptical why I was here. Like I was just the random girl who found her way in. I watch as Damon places the mic back into it stand and walks off strange towards me. He looked quite pleased actually. I stood up as he walked over.

"Hungry?" He asks pulling a hand through his hair. I shrug.

"I guess, are you?" He places his hands in his pockets shrugging too. I laugh. "That's not an answer is it?" He grins and nudges his head signifying me to follow. We walk past the small amount of people who were sat near me. Damon smiles at each of them, while they look at us a little confused. I mean I don't blame them, seeing some random girl suddenly talking to Damon like she's his new best friend. Well PG rated yes.

We walk through the corridors of the venue towards Damon's dressing room, he swings the door open to reveal a lady with her back to us and another man talking to her.

"Justine. Jamie. What's up?" He walks a little into the room and I stay standing in the doorway.

"Oh sweetheart! I was hoping I'd catch you!" She stands up quickly and runs over to Damon laying a kiss on his cheek. It was of course Damon's wife, great. I look over to the other man in the room, to my surprise it was Jamie Hewlett. He looks over at me looking at me a little concerned. He then looks at Damon standing awkwardly between everyone.

"Oh, um hello..." Justine looks over at me smiling. "Do you need some help?" I look over my shoulder thinking she was looking at someone else. I look back and she standing a little closer to me.

"Uh..." I look at Damon for help.

"Actually, Justine, I'm working with her at the moment, this is Dee." He takes hold of Justine's shoulders pulling her backwards a bit.

"Oh ok," she laughs a little awkwardly smiling happily, but soon turns back to Damon.

"Justine, what's going on, I thought you were going back home?" He looks over at me for a second but I turn away and see Jamie studying me.

"Oh! That's the thing, Jamie was explaining that you guys might have space for me!" She excitedly chants. I look over at Jamie and he's smiling sarcastically at Damon.

"I- uh, Jamie. Can I talk to you a second. Uh Dee, do you mind um, doing that thing I told you to do?" I look over a little confused but Damon darts his eyes to the door. I nod and walk out with Damon and Jamie on my tail. Jamie shuts the door behind us.

"Jamie, what are you doing telling Justine that!" He whispers. Jamie looks over at me.

"Forgive me, I'm sure you're lovely," he smiles, "but Damon you have a wife you can't go off sleeping with some random girl." I mean it's not like I already said that to Damon. But do I truly believe it?

Damon rolls his eyes, "I don't get why it would be your problem?" he snaps back. Jamie shrugs.

"I just being a friend, Damon. I don't care if the public find out about, but don't mess up your relationship with Justine!" Damon sighs.

"Thanks, but I'll figure this out myself, and I don't need Justine following me around everywhere while I'm working." Jamie nods and both pull in to hug each other. I stand awkward besides them. They pull away and Jamie nods at Damon before opening the door and walking back into his dressing room. Damon sighs and turns to look at me.

"Food?" I grin.

"Let's go."

We both ended up taking a stroll into the town near where the venue was. Every so often our hands would touch when walking giving me butterflies. We got some food at a fast food van since both of us didn't really feel like going anywhere else. We took our food to a near by field and sat enjoying the warm weather. It was quite cute, probably looked too cute from a distance.

I sat cross legged listen to Damon while we both smoked, every so often picking up a cold chip to flick at the other person.

"Could you stop throwing chips at me!" I laugh throwing another one back at Damon. He ignores me and throws a couple more. "Please," I laugh holding my hands out in defense. He continues chuckling away so I stand up grabbing the box of cold chips dumping them on his head.

"Hey!" He brushes the chips out of his hair and looks up at me with a devious smile before pulling on my leg making me fall over. "You got salt my hair!" Damon explains crawling closer to me laying defenseless in the grass.

"And a chip." I giggle. Damon goes down a little as I reach to get the chip out of his hair, he flicks his hair a little making salt fly out in different directions. We both laugh a little before it goes completely silent.

"Can I ask you a question?" I ask shuffling me hair to look at him.

"You just did," he snickers, I roll my eyes a little at him.

"No genuinely, why are you still hanging out with me?" He peers over at me and lays down with his elbow in the grass so he's a little higher up than me.

He breathes out deeply, "I made a promise to myself to only surround myself around positive people-"

"Ok don't get all cheesy like that." I giggle, he smiles looking at me.

"I'm not!"

"Yeah you are!" I nudge his arm a little bit. "Tell me the complete truth." Damon shrugs and laughs a bit.

"Do I need a reason? I mean why did you agree to see me again if you were worried about Justine?"

"Huh, good point..." He snickers.

"See I'm not just a pretty face," he jokes tilting his head a little towards me. I mockingly laugh and turn onto my side to lay closer to his face.

"And what am I?" I place my hand underneath my head and sweetly smile.

"I dunno, maybe a two?" He winks at me as I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Wow! Okay, thanks!" I laugh. Damon grins at me placing a hand behind my neck as he slowly brings his face closer to mine.

"I'm kidding, sweetheart." He presses his lips against mine as he tickles the back of my neck. I kiss back almost immediately feeling his soft skin hypnotize me as he gently bites my lip slowly.

I do wonder what makes this man feel such a strong connection with me considering I've barely known him for two days. It's a strange concept, but I understand it, I feel drawn in by him, like I want his attention and to impress him. Even if it does mean we're sneaking around.

I pull away slightly letting his hand slide onto my cheek and let his forehead rest against mine. He pulls my back in though, unable to keep his lips off me. I pull him off me again.

"Why do you have to be so damn addicting." He whispers deeply. I giggle.

"I can't answer that, but I would like to mention that we are in public still." Damon sighs and removes his contact from me, stretching backwards into the green.

"I know, I can't help it." He smiles to himself. I sit up a little stretching my back and check the time on my phone.

"Damon, what time do you need to be back?"

"Like four, I've still got to shower, since I got salt in my hair now." He states.

"I recommend we leave now then." Damon sits up abruptly.

"Why what's the time?"

"Four." I side eye him as he springs up onto his feet.

"Come on we got to go!" I giggle as he holds out his hand for me. I take it and stand up. "Ok, now if you try slow down at any point I'm putting fries in your hair next time." He says and he pulls me away holding my back.

"Ok, sorry." I laugh.

"It's ok, love, I'm only kidding." He smiles and leans in giving me a kiss on the cheek, before he let's go of my back and we head back to the venue.
