Jeonghan stared out of his apartment window and watched the sun set on the horizon, the sky turning from a pretty shade of orange to a light shade of purple.

Purple line Jeonghan thought, as he leaned against the window sill. He slid open the window and let the cold December wind touch his face. The news report from earlier had said that the temperature was six degrees and that there were chances of snow, so people were advised to dress warmly and stay indoors as much as possible. Despite that though, Jeonghan loved the cold weather. He loved the feeling of a gust of cold wind blowing across his face, the shivers down his spine and the sleepy mornings - he loved everything about winters.

“You’re going to catch a cold…”

Chan’s voice snapped him out his reverie. Jeonghan looked over his shoulder and smiled at Chan. “I was just thinking…”

“Of course you were…” Chan said as he placed down two cups of hot chocolate on the table’s surface. “…have some, it’s good.”

Jeonghan walked over to the table and picked up his mug of hot chocolate. He blew at the steam that hovered over the mug and took a deep sniff of the beverage.

“Penny for your thoughts?” Chan asked, sipping on his hot chocolate, as he settled on a nearby chair.

“Just thinking about that wedding…” Jeonghan shrugged, taking a seat opposite Chan.

“Oh the Choi Finances one?”

“Yup…”

“What about it?”

“I don’t know how we’re going to pull it off in less than twelve days, and we haven’t even gotten the guest list ready. I feel very jittery about the scenario and the couple doesn’t really know anything about planning a wedding, it’s like teaching a third grader tenth grade mathematics.” Jeonghan muttered as he ran a frustrated hand through his hair.

“Well if you need anything I am always there, you know? You could always divide the work with me, that way it’ll help me get some sort of experience.” Chan suggested.
Jeonghan hummed in response. “True…okay, hold that thought and let me get my notebook then we’ll discuss what can be done…”

Jeonghan jumped off his chair and ran to get his notebook. There were lots of things going through Jeonghan’s head - ideas popping, contacts filing, color schemes forming and Ara’s overwhelming confession.

I’m pregnant…we thought it would be best to get married before…before I start showing.

He particularly didn’t know why it affected him so much but, the fact was that it did. He heaved a loud sigh and picked up his notebook before he walked back to where Chan was waiting for him.

“Seungcheol’s said that he’s sorry that he won’t be joining us…” Ara said, as she walked into Jeonghan’s office and taking her coat off. “He had some clientele business to take care of.”

“Oh that’s alright…” Jeonghan smiled, trying his best to ignore the little fall of his heart. “We’re just going to look at some invitations designs and run through the guest list, is that alright?”

“Sure,” Ara glowed, taking a seat opposite to Jeonghans’s, “We don’t really want it to be a big wedding, just a small one, so I don’t think the guest list will be much of a problem.”

“That solves most of our problems then…” Jeonghan smiled as he pulled out his phone and started scrolling through it. “I’ve collected some samples for the invitations, how about you take a look at them?”
