Jeonghan stared at Ara, completely dumbstruck. The words on the tip of his tongue died, and the look on his face was that of complete shock.

Ara quickly wiped her eyes, "I want you to get out."

"But –"

She whirled around and looked at him irritably with her red eyes, "I said that I want you to get out, so please, just get out. I want to go home, and I don't feeling like doing this today."

Before Jeonghan could say anything, Ara walked away from him and shut the door to the dressing room. He stared at the door for a few seconds before he let out a sigh and got his phone out of his pocket to call Chan.

The phone rang twice before Chan picked it up.

"What's up?" Chan drawled on the other end of the line.

Jeonghan sighed and began to make his way out of the atelier, "Things didn't go so well with Ara today, so I think I'm going to..." he paused and thought for a few seconds.

If Ara didn't want to get married, would he still have a wedding to plan?

"Jeonghan, are you still there?"

He was snapped out of his thoughts, and Jeonghan shook his head before he sat down on one of the couches at the atelier's lobby. He ran a hand through his hair irritably and leaned against the back of the seat, "What was I saying?"

"You said you were going to do something...what happened with Ara?"

Jeonghan sighed and shook his head, "Nothing, I think she's just nervous about the wedding. I think I'll go check up on the progress of the invitations and then visit the caterer –"

"Oh right, uhm, Mingyu –"

"Who?"

Chan was silent for a few seconds, and Jeonghan heard him utter a quiet fuck on the other end of the line before he continued speaking, "Mr. Kim, Seungcheol's best man said that Seungcheol would be picking up Ara at the atelier today."

Jeonghan sat up, "He will?"

"Yeah, I think he should be on his way there now. Just before Mingyu and I left the restaurant together, Seungcheol called him and said he was on his way...fuck, I called him Mingyu again, didn't I?"

The wedding planner chuckled softly, "Yes, you did. You have to talk to me about your crab date when things are less hectic for me," Jeonghan glanced across the hall and noticed Seungcheol stepping in, and his stomach twisted in anxiety, "I have to go now, bye Channie."

He hung up and made his way across the hall, his heart drumming in his chest and his stomach twisting into knots. They stopped walking as soon as they were both in front of each other, and Seungcheol offered Jeonghan a hesitant smile.

"Why are you out here?" Seungcheol asked, "You didn't have to wait for me."

Jeonghan's throat felt dry, so he swallowed hard before he replied, "Uhm, well...no, I wasn't really out here to wait for you. Seungcheol, I have to talk to you about..." he looked up at Seungcheol helplessly and pulled at the fabric of his jeans, "I have to talk to you about the wedding."

A serious look crossed Seungcheol's face, "I love her – she's my best friend and I'd do anything for her..." he sighed and shook his head, "I know how bad I must look to you right now, and...I'm sorry. I was unprofessional, and I would love to explain myself, but I'm not sure of what to say."

"I just wanted to..." Jeonghan trailed off, and he bit his lip, "I think you need to go talk to Ara right now. She's upset."

Seungcheol's tired face instantly turned to a worried expression, "What's wrong? Did something happen to her...to the baby?"

"She...she didn't say," Jeonghan lied, "But I think you should talk to her."

"I will," Seungcheol replied, "I want to talk to you again. Can we meet later tonight? I'll pick you up from your office...that is, if you still want to talk to me –"

"You should take care of Ara first," Jeonghan insisted, "If she's okay by tonight, then I'll be fine with meeting you again."

They stared at each other, and Jeonghan broke off their eye contact first. He bowed to Seungcheol briefly before he quickly made his way out of the atelier and into his car. He breathed quietly in his car for a few minutes before he turned on the engine and left the atelier.

He'd never encountered such a complicated wedding before.

---

He was staring blankly out his window when his phone rang. Due to all the thoughts running around his mind, Jeonghan answered it without bothering to check who it was that was calling him.

"Hello?"

"You said that if I talked to Ara first, we could meet. I'm outside of your office, so could you come down now?"

Jeonghan hesitated, "I don't –"

"Please come down. I need to talk to you about what happened."

After he'd let out a soft sigh, Jeonghan replied. "Okay, I'll down." He massaged his temples quickly before he got up out of his seat and made his way out of his office. In order to get out as swiftly as possible, he rattled off a lie about getting some coffee to Chan and headed out without another word.

To be honest, he didn't know what he would say to Seungcheol. Jeonghan sighed as he made his way down, his heart pounding in his chest. When he saw Seungcheol standing near the lobby's entrance, he froze.

Before he could even consider running back upstairs, Seungcheol turned around and caught sight of him. Jeonghan slowly began to move, his mind not moving fast enough to think of something to say to the other man. As soon as he was outside, he swallowed hard and waited for Seungcheol to speak first.

"...let's speak in the car."

Jeonghan bit his lip and shook his head, "I think we should just speak out here." Although he wasn't quite thinking straight, what he was sure of was that he didn't want to be pulled into any more drama. He was tired of all the confusion and crazy that was happening around him. In fact, all he really wanted to do at that moment was go home and sleep everything away.

Seungcheol didn't protest, so after a few seconds of awkward silence, Jeonghan decided to speak up first. He took a deep breath, sorted out his thoughts and spoke, "Look Seungcheol, you don't have to explain anything to me. What happened that night was –"

"I told Ara about what happened."

Jeonghan's eyes widened in shock, and his mind went blank for a few seconds as he registered what Seungcheol had just told him. "What? How could you? What about the wedding? What about your...the baby?"

Seungcheol took a deep breath before he spoke. "You don't have to pretend you don't know."

"...what?"

"Jeonghan..." Seungcheol sighed softly, but when he met Jeonghan's eyes, his gaze was firm and serious. "I've always known that the baby wasn't mine."
