"What is wrong with you?" Jeonghan stopped fidgeting and glanced at Chan, who was standing at the doorway with a cup of coffee in his hands. He placed his planner down onto his desk and clenched his fists, "Nothing's wrong with me –"

"Don't lie." Chan muttered as he placed the cup of coffee onto Jeonghan's desk. "I can read you perfectly, you know? What happened?"

"I don't want to talk about it."

The younger man rolled his eyes, "Fine then, be difficult." He crossed his arms and stared down at Jeonghan, "Well there's someone outside to meet you. Should I let him in now or –"

"I don't want to see Seungcheol!"

Chan raised an eyebrow, "Excuse me?"

"I – I meant, what?" Jeonghan stuttered, well aware that his face was heating up in embarrassment. He swallowed hard and glanced at the door before he turned his eyes back to Chan's face. "Who's there?"

Chan narrowed his eyes, "You know what? I'm just going to go deal with this guy myself. You don't look so good – go home, and don't come back until you to tell me about what's wrong."

"Hey, I'm your boss!" Jeonghan argued, "You can't just tell me what to do!"

Just as he was about to open the door, Chan turned around. He shot Jeonghan an uninterested look, "I'm also your friend, so that gives me more than enough right to tell you when you're acting weird. Go home Jeonghan."

"I'm meeting Ara today." Jeonghan replied, "I can't just go home." His heart pounded in his chest as he remembered the fact that he'd kissed the fiancé of his client.

Oh God, he was a homewrecker, wasn't he? Jeonghan paled at the thought, and although Seungcheol had been the one to start it, he'd enjoyed it and he'd even kissed the other man back.

"Yeah, I think you should go home." Chan opened the door, "I'll deal with Seungcheol's best man –"

"What, Seungcheol's here?"

Chan shut the door immediately and crossed his arms. "No, I said that his best man was here – Kim Mingyu." He frowned at Jeonghan, "Now tell me what's bothering you."

Jeonghan shook his head and ran his hands through his hair, "It's nothing." He sighed and stared at Chan apologetically, "I'm sorry, please don't worry about me. I'll be okay. Make sure to inform Mr. Kim about all his duties, okay?"

"Yeah, don't worry..." Chan eyed Jeonghan warily. "If you feel ill, then take something before you meet Ara later, okay?"

"I'm not ill, so don't worry."

Chan sighed and strode out of the room, "You know what? The more you tell me to not worry, I worry more. You will tell me what's wrong with you over dinner later!" The door slammed shut, and Jeonghan let his face fall into his hands.

Seungcheol hadn't bothered to call, and Jeonghan was filled with so much guilt, frustration and disappointment that he didn't know what to do. He didn't know what to say, and he didn't know how he was supposed to feel, but most importantly, he had one huge concern that he could not stop thinking about.

How was he going to face Ara later?

---

"Good morning, I'm Lee Chan." Chan shook the other man's hand and led him over to a nearby table, "I'm Mr. Yoon's assistant and because he has other things to attend to, I'll be meeting with you today."

"Ah, I see." Mingyu smiled and leaned back into his chair, "Well, I'm glad he has other things to attend to. You look like you're more my type than he is."
