This is the preface, the prologue. Thank you for all who are reading this story, and please enjoy this super-short chapter/vignette.

As a child, until know, my mother had dearly acclaimed my name as "Kore" of the spring. There were no spring, no summer or winter seasons. We did not know of spring at the time. The leaves were always a presentable emerald shade. The fields golden with life, and every day both of us, the immortals and mankind would harvest, feast and be merry.

My mother's name is Demeter; the Greek Goddess of the Harvest; and first known as a lover of Zeus, the God of the skies, and Earth.

As a child, the God of the Underworld; and the reckoned of the afterlife had set eyes on the fields of my home on Earth. A gift would one day bestow me the one fate that both my mother and both feared but she once desired. To be bestowed as a queen; in which I knew that my mother should have been if not for Hera's facade.

I Persephone, she who sheds the light within the darkness; the oldest of my generation; without a proper title as a child; a queen to be of fate choosing; against my will.

Persephone & Hades.

Over Yonder the golden rays of sunshine touch the wheat in the fields. The tops are wondrously unbelievable to gaze at. Around the tips of the wheat, the wind dances like lovers during a celebration. Clear as perfect; the sky has no clouds. There is no rain.

There is no agony, sorrow or resentment here. All it is allowed here are compassion and the buzzing sensation of hope. A million of weights have lifted once entering. Peacefulness only lays within the mind.

This place is floating. Nothing seems to be real here, however it is to me. There is a flying sensation here; like a bird when its wings are spread out. Everything seems peaceful.

Love is everywhere here, my friend says so. My friend tells me that my eyes are more glistering than the ocean of a tropical island.

To be continued...

Author's Note: please note that this is meant for the Wattpad story description; however, due to the limited (2,000) characters that the descriptions are given, a piece of the description is rewritten in this vignette. Thank you for checking out the first completed part of the story PERSEPHONE, almost renamed POMEGRANATES; partially written as QUEEN OF FATES CHOOSING. The original Wattpad story had poor grammar and a strange plot line. Hope you enjoyed this, and please check out the next part.
