I woke up and jumped out of bed to the ringing sound of excitement in my ears. The time read "12:00 am" and i raced to my parents room.

"MOMMY !MOMMY! guess what today is!" I repeatedly jumped on the king sized bed until my mom woke up.

"Mommy!"

"Jennie ah why are you up?"

"Its my birthday!"

My mom smiled and grabbed me into a hug.

"My little sweetheart you should sleep so when you wake up later you'll be full of energy to celebrate! Off to bed."

"Sleep tight princess." She smiled and tucked me into my bed.

"Omma"

"Yes?"

"Do you ever have dreams?"

"Well, of course. I dream about Princess Jennie and her sister Princess Hyo jin in a tall beautiful castle with horses and shinning knights and bright flowers"

"Jennie I want to give you something."

My mother left the room and came back with a mini black notepad in her hands.

"This was my book where i kept all my dreams. I wrote what i dreamt and what i wanted to do in life. I want you write your dreams in this and write your passions because in life your dreams are important no matter where you go."

"I love it i will keep it safe."

"Good now time for bed." My mom kissed me before closing the door.

I fell asleep with the notebook hugged tightly between my chest. I promised i would keep it safe.

3:47 am

I was up enjoying the mini pictures and notes my mom wrote in the notebook she gave me until i heard glass shatter.

I slowly walked downstairs to see what was happening. It was 3am and i was the only one awake. I had to see.

Fear shot through my eyes as i saw a pool of flames spreading throughout the living room.

"Hyo jin! Hyo Jin!" I shouted running to my room.

"Wake up Wake up!"

"what" she mumbled through the sheets.

"T-Theres a fire down stairs help!"

She shot up from the blankets and carried me into our parents room.

"Omma! Apa! Theres a fire downstairs!"

"Hyo jin ah stay with your sister outside!" My mom screamed as her and my dad tried to take out the growing flames.

My sister ran to saftey outside and set me down onto our neighbors driveway.

"Hyo jin where are you going!" I cried

"Stay here i'll be back."

Every second the flames grew faster and quicker as well as the feat in my eyes. The air became blinding and the smoke was deadly. Ash filled the air and the house was barely standing.
