"So you're telling me that in the short time I was gone, Scott kissed Lydia and acted like a total and complete dick to you and everyone around him? Was he that bad the first time around?" I asked Stiles, who had called me when we were only an hour out of town. We were stopped at some diner, and I was in the bathroom talking to him rather than spend an awkward dinner with Sam and Dean.
"Yeah, well no. He wasn't anywhere near this bad his first full moon. I think it had something to do with the fact that Allison just broke up with him, or that's what he said at least." Stiles replies. I was still sort of mad at Stiles and Scott for the whole school thing, but for some reason, the closer we got to Beacon Hills the more my worries seemed to fade away. It was scaring the shit out of me.
"I'm sure you guys will get through this. He's been your best friend for forever, and if his little problem hasn't separated you guys yet, I doubt it ever will." I say, trying to sound optimistic.
"Is Tori Winchester actually trying to sound optimistic about something?" Stiles teases. I roll my eyes, wishing I was next to him so I could whack him.
"Is Stiles Stilinski actually being sarcastic? That never happens." I say, sarcasm dripping from my voice. Stiles starts to say something, when someone starts to bang on the bathroom door.
"Victoria, get your butt out of there. We need to hit the road." Dean says gruffly and I sigh.
"Okay!" I call back. "Sorry Stiles, I've gotta go. I should be at school tomorrow though. See ya." I end the call and grab my bag from the bathroom floor before walking out to the Impala. One more hour.

"Hey Tori, how would you like to drive in a possible high speed car chase?" Kate Argent asks about an hour after Sam, Dean and I got home. I went through the cons in my head, which outweighed the pros. However, I'd never been able to drive in a high speed car chase.
"Sure, I hear that's the best way to wind down from an out of town hunt." I joke, and Kate laughs.
"Come on kid, let's go." She says with a smile, leading me out to her car. I hopped in the driver's seat, my stomach doing flips as I realized what we were about to do. I started to pull out of the driveway before I realized that I had no clue where we were going.
    "Uh, which way?" I ask.
"Either way, we're going to drive around and see if we can find Derek Hale." Kate says, a smirk on her face. I feel my stomach drop slightly, but I don't change my facial expression. Dean had taught me how to keep a good poker face, and mine was pretty good in my opinion. I decided to turn left, and after driving for only twenty minutes, I saw a black Camaro pull out from behind a warehouse.
"That's him, follow him and do not lose him." Kate orders after studying the license plate for a moment.
"Got it." I nod, and get right on Derek's tail, which makes him speed up. I bite my lip and also speed up, going way over the speed limit as we chase Derek around town. Kate's phone starts to ring, which causes me to get distracted for a millisecond before I accelerate again.
"Hello? Yeah, we're tailing his car." Kate says, and I assume it's either Chris or my brothers, who had left with Chris right before I left with Kate. "Wait, did you say on foot?" Kate asks, there's a pause before she says "running." After another pause, Kate growls exasperatedly. "If he's on foot, then who the hell is driving his car?" Kate asks, confusion covering her face and voice.
"Where?" I ask, ready to turn.
"The Iron Works, go right there." Kate orders, pointing to the very next turn. I jerk the wheel, drifting in an attempt to keep the car from flipping. If I tried to drive the Impala like this, Dean would kill me. I follow Kate's directions, and within three minutes we're whipping into the Iron Works, but it's too late. Derek is nowhere to be seen. I groan before turning to Kate with a raised eyebrow.
"What now?" I ask, the adrenaline from being in a (sort of) car chase still flowing through me.
"Go home. You have school tomorrow, I'll have Chris come pick me up and then head back out." Kate says, her tone holding an air of finality, so I do as she said without questioning.

I furrow my eyebrows as I glance at the text from Stiles: SOS. My fingers hover over the keyboard, but before I can reply, someone grabs my arm and yanks me to the side of the hall. I open my mouth, ready to snap when Stiles smiles at me. I sigh and shake my head at him.
    "What's the emergency?" I ask.
"Listen, I just talked to Scott and Jackson knows what Scott is." Stiles explains quietly and I feel my blood run cold.
"What the hell do you mean he knows?" I ask, panic rising in my chest.
"I don't know, Scott said that he didn't say the actual 'w' word, but that he implied it." Stiles replies, his face filled with worry. I take in a deep breath, holding it for a minute before releasing it.
"He can't let anyone else know. Sam and Dean don't know what Scott is either, and they definitely wouldn't like it if they knew I've been helping a werewolf. I'd get skinned alive." I say, cursing myself for the panic in my voice. Stiles lays a hand on my shoulder reassuringly.
"It'll be fine, I promise." Stiles says gently. I open my mouth to argue, when the bell rings. I smile grimly at Stiles before heading towards English, which I was already going to be late to. As I got to the door, Allison ran out. I frowned and ran after her. English could wait.
"Allison, wait!" I call, rushing after her. She stops and turns around to look at me, tears streaming down her face.
"Allison!" Scott calls, running past me as he leaves the class too.
"Why did you send me those? Are you trying to make me feel even worse for breaking up with you?" Allison asks, her voice trembling.
"No, I thought you would like them. I-I thought they would remind you of us." Scott says, his voice soft.
"Are you trying to hurt me-get back at me?" Allison asks, her voice stronger and tinged with anger. I close the distance between us, squeezing her shaking hand. She may sound angry, but I could tell that she felt broken hearted.
"No." Scott mutters, glancing between us like he wanted me to come to his defense.
"Please don't talk to me. Okay? I need more time to get to just friends." Allison says, before walking away. I follow her (not unwillingly, but as she was grasping onto my hand like a security blanket, I really had no choice)
"Allison, I'm sorry." I say, feeling for her. I'd seen how broken hearted Sam had gotten over some of the girls that he had been in relationships with. I'd never been in one place long enough to have to go through that, thank god.
"It just hurts so much, Tori. I thought that what we had was strong, and then he started acting so weird. And he started lying to me, but I think I still love him." Allison cries, her head on my shoulder as she sobs. I pat her back gently, wishing that everything could have worked out for once, and that for once someone wouldn't have had to be heartbroken.

I storm into the cafeteria, ten minutes late for lunch because Dean decided that he and Sam were going to go out of town for a hunt again. I glance around the cafeteria, my eyes stopping on Scott and Stiles' table before I storm over to them.
"Just that I know nothing about girls, and that they're totally psychotic." Scott grumbles as I walk up. I slam my hands on the table, scaring the crap out of both boys.
"I'm not psychotic, sweetie, and neither is Allison. You pulled an ass move, sending her those pictures. She sobbed on my shoulder for like twenty minutes, and my jacket is still soaked." I practically growl, glaring at the werewolf. Scott gulps and shakes his head.
"I'm sorry Tori, I really didn't mean to hurt her so bad." Scott apologizes, his puppy eyes huge and sad. I groan, but nod reluctantly.
"Alright, well I came up with a plan "B" just in case anything like this happened." Stiles says, slightly changing the subject.
"What's plan "B"" Scott asks, and I just sit back, not knowing what any of this was about.
"Just steal the stupid thing." Stiles suggests, flailing his arms. I shake my head and smile softly. Stiles was so cute when he got worked up. I frowned at myself, shaking the thought out of my head. Stiles was my friend, there was no way that I felt that way about him, right?
"Couldn't we at least try getting to Harris?" Scott asks and I raise an eyebrow. What the hell does our chemistry teacher have to do with stealing something?
"My dad put him on a 24 hour protective detail, okay? The necklace is all we got. Steal it. Thank you." Stiles says, and suddenly the pieces click together. Allison's necklace, that's why Scott was trying to get on her good side earlier. I just roll my eyes at the boys' antics.
"Stiles, Tori, he's watching us." Scott whispers worriedly. I raise an eyebrow.
"Who?" I ask, not missing the flinch pass across Scott's face.
"Jackson's talking to me. He knows I can hear him. Look at me, just talk to me. Act normal. Pretend that nothing's happening." Scott says, his voice a little louder as panic starts to set in. I glance at Stiles, waiting for him to say something since my mind is blank. "Say something. One of you talk to me!" Scott panics, turning between me and Stiles.
"I can't think of anything. My mind's a complete blank." Stiles says, a frown on his face.
"Your mind is blank? How the hell does that even happen?" I ask, pursing my lips.
"I can't think under this kind of pressure. And look, he's not even sitting with Allison and them anymore." Stiles defends himself, before nodding towards the seat that Jackson had been sitting in.
"Where's Waldo?" I mutter under my breath, looking around for Jackson.
"Yes." Scott growls out, and I jump slightly, not expecting him to say anything or to sound so angry. Scott's whole jaw tenses up, and he starts to clench his fists so tight that his knuckles turn white. I turn to Stiles with a small frown.
"Scott, come on, you can't let him do this." Stiles starts and I nod slowly.
"You can't let someone like him have power like this over you Scott." I add. Stiles nods at me. I start to reach towards him, to try and kick him out of the trance he seemed to be in, when he snaps his lunch tray in half. The entire cafeteria goes silent, everyone facing our table since it was where the noise came from. I turn my gaze on Jackson, giving him a death glare as he smirks at us.
