Ava's first week at Hogwarts had been stressful. All of her teachers had given her loads of homework. The only class she enjoyed this year was Care of Magical Creatures. But, between eating times, class, homework, and quidditch practice, Ava didn't have much time for gallivanting. Ava always managed to fit in time to hang out with her favorite professor.

Charlie and Ava had hung out the very first night at Hogwarts and once again on Thursday evening. It was now Saturday night and Ava had spent Friday night and Saturday morning finishing her homework and going over quidditch plays. Now, it was Charlie and Ava time.

They were supposed to meet in the Gryffindor Common Room and just hang out there. So, a little while after lunch, Ava came down from her dormitory and waited for Charlie. He knew how to get into the Gryffindor dormitory because he was a Gryffindor himself and teachers were given all the passwords to each house.

Ava was sitting on the couch talking with Lavender Brown about each others summer when, in the corner of her eye, she saw Charlie walk through the port hole. Waving goodbye to Lavender, Ava walked over to where Charlie was currently standing.

"Hey there, Professor Weasley," Ava laughed.

"Ha ha, very funny Ms. Lockwood," Charlie shot back.

Ava giggled and then asked Charlie, "What do you wanna do today Charlie?"

Smirking, Charlie grabbed Ava's hand and pulled her out the port hole and told her, "I've got a few things in mind."

Later discovering that Charlie's 'few things in mind' were wondering the castle and the outdoor grounds. They had decided to use the school brooms to fly around the Quidditch field while Charlie helped Ava practice with the snitch. With Harry being gone, that made Ava the seeker and she got Quidditch captain.

Having just caught the snitch for the 3rd time in a row, they had decided to take a break when it begun pouring down on them. Abandoning their brooms, they begun their run back to Hogwarts, hand in hand.

They continued running until they found an empty classroom to dry off in. But, as soon as they entered the classroom, Ava felt something. 'Are these butterflies?' Ava asked herself. She found herself staring at Charlie as he stood in the corner, hands in his hair, shaking the rain off. His wet shirt clung to his body, showing every single muscle he had and Ava could feel her knees weak. It didn't help when Charlie finally looked up, he walked towards Ava. He paused for a moment, also seeming to take in Ava as well, before placing a finger on her forehead to brush hair out of her face.

Ava could feel herself gravitating towards Charlie, almost as if they were magnetic. They were standing so close and Ava thought for a second that her best friend was going to kiss her. And she was going to let him.

But then, it happened. Ava went to take a step towards Charlie, closing in the space, but she stepped on a puddle slipping forward. The sudden slip caused Charlie to fall on his back and Ava landing right on top of him. They both started laughing hysterically at this that the moment prior was completely forgotten for the moment.

She laid her head on his chest as their laughing settled and she just relaxed for the slightest moment. But, the moment was too long because just as Ava was about to get up, Peeves the Poltergeist slammed the door open and snapped a picture of them.

Yelling at Peeves as he bounced away laughing, Ava got up to chase after him. "How the heck did he even get a camera?" Ava asked Charlie. Charlie just shrugged and Ava took off down the hallway to try to catch Peeves and that camera.

For a moment after Ava left, Charlie just sat there on the floor in the middle of a classroom, reliving everything. All he could do was smile to himself for just a moment before getting up and finding Ava again.
